Carlos our caretaker while Rodney is shielding has constructed this great bug hotel in the Reception outdoor area. Thank you! All reclaimed and reused materials.
The Phased Return continues...we are maintaining distance and using space in the school, and being outside whenever possible. It's lovely having more children getting a chance to return to their familiar classes and grown-ups in a slightly unfamiliar way.
The statue of slave-trader, Edward Colston, should have gone long ago! He engaged in crimes against humanity. Any doubts? Read this brilliant book! It describes the full horrors of how we grew rich on the backs of African slaves
We are looking forward to a phased return from Monday for R/Y1 and Y6 initially. Please remember, only one adult so that we can socially distance at arrival and the journey to and from school.
We are in process for R/Y1 and Y6 phased return in the first instance; as stated previously, this will not happen before 8.6.20 as we make classes ready and train staff in new procedures. We will be informing parents/carers of the measures put in place over the week of 1.6.20.
Celebrating our young athletes today in Assembly. Well done for your weekly efforts at Park Run, and your performance at the County Cross Country finals.
