3/3 It happened a third time…. By then, I was exhausted and terrified….I remember thinking there was no way out this time… and I slowly gave in, ready to sink and let go gasping for breath… But then, something unexpected happened….A hand broke through the moment… Someone grabbed my hand that was up whilst going back into the water for what I thought was the last time and pulled me up…It was a herdsman who had come with his cattle to graze and drink water from that same land…He saved me from drowning… When I got out, I couldn’t find my friend anywhere…No one was around aside the herdsman and his livestock…It was just silence, like nothing had happened…I was shivering, terrified and didn’t know what was happening covered in dirt and tears.. The herdsman asked me where I stayed, couldn’t answer him and just showed him our house with my finger just opposite the abandoned church land, my mum was looking for me at the same time and we happened to just meet her on our way home.. he told her everything and there was shock and tears of joy at the same time.. she sang several songs in appreciation for what God has done and I was still in shock… by the way there were some few lashes😅 knowing African parents… Till today, so many unanswered questions still linger in my mind…But one thing I know for sure is this God never left me….He has always had a purpose for my life… Reasons why nothing stops me or break me from being who I am and achieving what I believe in.. I’m a fighter… Don’t stop believing in Him…He is real❤️

This scene just took me back to a moment I’ll never forget ….the day I almost lost my life at just 5 years old. It’s one of the reasons I keep going no matter what, because I truly believe God has never left me…. We had just moved into a new neighborhood, and like any kid, I was excited to have someone next door to play with….Two days after meeting this new friend, we decided to explore as young kids will do and play right across from my parents blindside since there was no school… There was an abandoned church plot just opposite where we stayed..… quiet, empty, and hiding danger…On that land was an old well, filled not with clean water, but thick, muddy quicksand… Afternoons in the area were usually silent….no noise…no warning…. My friend led me closer to the well… and before I knew it, he pushed me in. 1/3

A boy fell into the river while riding a bicycle nearby. The situation was tense because the victim was in the river and had difficulty saving himself. Fortunately, residents saw the incident in time. If no one had noticed for a few minutes, the outcome could have been much worse. Residents immediately called for help from around the area to carry out the rescue as quickly as possible. Using basic tools, they employed fishing nets to reach the victim from above. After several attempts, the boy was finally pulled to safety. This event reminds parents to supervise their children more closely when playing, especially near rivers, slippery roads, and other high-risk areas. The neighbourhood residents' quick actions are also commendable, as they saved a life in minutes.

💭 Personally I think Liam Rosenior deserves time. He is a young bright manager who was doing very well with a young Strasbourg team in France. He laid the foundation for what they have achieved in the last couple of seasons. What he needs is time, a couple of transfer windows and at least a preseason to implement his thoughts and ideas. These players aren’t good enough. All of them need to be sold. Until Chelsea do that they shouldn’t expect any manager to get a tune out of their current squad. 😑

💭 Everyone agrees Rosenior is crap and should be fired despite being a bright young manager, being appointed in the middle of the season, no transfers in January and having little time to train his players. But there are people who backed a similar record under Amorim. Recommending that he needed more time. First 22 games in charge all comps: Rosenior 11-2-9 Amorim 10-3-9 Make it make sense 😒

💭 Seen this going around. Have quite a bit to say. Quite a bit. This is going to be long and off the cuff so strap up and ignore the typos. Not playing down anything Pep has achieved but he has had it easier compared to Ferguson. You just have to look at what Aberdeen and United were before Ferguson and what those two clubs have been post Ferguson. No club could break the duopoly in the very good Scottish league back in the day but Ferguson did that. He won 3 Scottish league titles and an European trophy against the mighty Real Madrid. The last time Madrid lost any European cup final. Aberdeen haven’t achieved anything like that since. It’s back to Celtic and Rangers stacking up titles in Scotland. And then there is United. We hadn’t won a league title in nearly 3 decades, even suffered relegation in the middle of that spell before Ferguson broke that curse and went on to establish the dynasty that a lot of us grew up in. 13 league titles in 26 years. An average of a league title every other season. Constantly evolving and overcoming numerous challenges and rivalries. From Wenger’s Arsenal, to Roman’s Chelsea and even the Arab’s City before he called it a day. All this without ever being the highest spender at any point across those 26 years(yes, you can fact check this). It was his brilliance and knowledge of the league that made United so dominant. Seen criticisms of him for his European haul at United. One Cup Winners Cup success followed by two UCL titles in 2 decades is not that small a feat if you consider what cheque book managers have managed in this current era. For those who don’t know, England had a ban and transfer restrictions in the 90s following the Hillsborough disaster. That gave other European leagues the advantage in European competitions in the 90s. The Italian teams were especially very dominant in the 90s. The priority for Ferguson was knocking Liverpool off their perch in English football and he succeeded in doing so. He still managed to win the champions league at the end of the 90s. Part of a historic treble. So that’s 16 league titles and 4 major European trophies for two sleeping clubs he awoke. On the other hand, Pep took over a Barcelona side who were swapping league titles successes with Real Madrid in what is almost exclusively a duopoly in Spain with the odd title to another team here and there. They had just made the UCL semi final, ironically against United just the season before he took charge. He quickly settled and dominated Europe with 2 UCL trophies against us with the help of a blank cheque book. Left for Bayern Munich. Bayern Munich. Bayern Munich. Even a manikin could win titles in that league. 35 league titles that club has achieved with their nearest competitors,Dortmund winning 5. He then strategically moved to City. A team that had started dominating English football thanks to breaking every single rule that could be broken financially to put them in that position. They have 115 charges hanging around their necks to that effect. Like Barca when he took over, City had also just made it to the UCL semi final just before he took charge. 10 years later he has dominated England and won one UCL title. Pep is a genius but he certainly has had it easier compared to how Ferguson had to build his legacy with clubs who were on their knees. He is the 🐐 for all the reasons stated above. Ironically Pep will even agree but his fan boys won’t. 🤷🏽‍♂️🥴
