On a memorable (and very wet!) evening, our U12s Boys had the pleasure of playing against the Football Victoria Academy U13s Girls! In a high-quality and beautiful game of football, our boys came away with a 4–3 win—but more importantly, they showcased the values that matter most. Against a top-level academy side, they played with composure, humility and tremendous respect for their opponents. We extend our sincere thanks to Football Victoria for the invitation. From the first goal set up this morning at 6:30am, to the final tables being packed away at 5:00pm — our volunteers showed what this club is all about. And when you host over 700 people throughout the day you need a team of extraordinary people. They were everywhere. 🔥 Cooking Abruzzo Lab's famous arosticini over the grill 🧹 Cleaning and resetting spaces 🚩 Marshalling the grounds 🥅 Setting up pitches, goals and corner flags No spotlight. No fuss. Just getting it done — together. This is club spirit. This is what builds a community. This is what our junior program is all about. To every parent, coach, team manager and volunteer who gave their time and energy today — thank you. You created something special for our kids and our families. We are incredibly proud.
