Reflecting on 55 Days of New Growth and Next Steps 🚀 In just 55 days, I’ve reached 61,975 views across five platforms—a number I’m genuinely grateful for! Since launching my long-form social media news show on September 3rd, I’ve added short-form content back into my #videomarketing strategy and started a daily #newsletter. Plus, I overcame some long-held limiting beliefs around #emailmarketing, finally diving in! How is this impacting business? Thanks to these updates, inquiries for video marketing services have jumped significantly—up by £10K in quoted jobs, with 25% already confirmed. This response shows the power of consistent, purposeful content. What’s Next? For November, I’ll be moving the website to a new platform, with a complete redesign and refreshed content across the site. For the show, my goal is to hit around 40K views by the end of the month. To everyone who has tuned in or engaged, thank you! You’re a big part of this journey. It’s also been exciting to see the trend of #buildinginpublic gaining traction—something I’ve always championed. #socialmedia #socialmediamarketing #videocontent

Who Should You Really Invest Your Time In? 🔺 In this whiteboard video, I break down the "Investment Triangle"—a simple framework to figure out who you should invest your time, energy, and resources into. Whether it’s business or personal life, not everyone deserves the same level of attention, and this triangle will help you filter those people out. 🔵 Top Level (Inner Circle): These are the 2-5 people closest to you. They get your time, energy, and even money when needed. 🟣 Middle Level: Friends, extended family, business contacts. You’ve worked with them before, but they’re not inner circle material just yet. 🟢 Bottom Level: Everyone else. They get the least of your time and energy, especially if they haven’t earned your trust. This concept saved me a lot of wasted time, especially after investing in the wrong people. It’s not about being rude, it’s about being smart with your energy. 💬 Drop your thoughts in the comments. Have you had experiences with people you should have placed differently in your triangle?

In this video, I’m diving into an AI workflow that has been a game changer for me this month. While I've been focusing on long-form content for the channel, I didn’t want to neglect short-form videos. So, I’ve developed a workflow that combines both, helping me grow my YouTube channel using YouTube Shorts. Here’s what you can expect: Start with Long-Form Content: I’ll show you how to take your talks, podcasts, or interviews and transform them into engaging short videos. AI Tools to the Rescue: I’ve been using tools like Autopilot for editing and OBS Clips to chop long videos into bite-sized clips, saving me tons of time on the grunt work. Crafting Great Captions with ChatGPT: I’ll explain how to teach ChatGPT your writing style by feeding it some of your previous content, so it can help create compelling social media posts that truly reflect your voice. My Daily Strategy: I aim for one long-form video and two short-form videos each day, maximizing my content output while minimizing burnout. This workflow has allowed me to optimize my time and keep producing high-quality content without it feeling like a chore. If you’re interested in content creation, video marketing, or just looking for ways to work smarter, this video is for you! Let’s Connect: If you find this helpful, I’d love for you to like and subscribe! Share your thoughts in the comments, especially if you’ve tried using AI in your content process.

As part of this week's episode of "this week in social media" , we report from what I found out from meta connect in 2024! In linked meta news 25th of September Meta hosted “meta connect 2024”, where Mark the CEO of meta shared an account of the meta quest 3, Meta AI announcements, along with showing a live demo for the new meta Glasses. They started by showcasing and explaining the updates to the New Meta headset, some key takes away, are gaming and being able to work with any windows 11 PC, to creating a virtual screen to work from, just by wearing the quest 3 and looking down the keyboard! Along with some re-designed meta app ( Facebook, IG and WhatsApp. ) Leading into some updates for “Meta AI”, there AI can now understand images as well as text. The demo shows that you can edit and update an image that was uploaded to it, just from text inputs. They also showed that you can now talk to meta AI, as mark things that is going to be one of the best way of how we use our “A.I bots” moving forward, likely going up against Google’s gemi and Apple’s Siri. They did bring “Don Allen Stevenson” on to the stage to share about how he is using and how he has trained his “meta AI” to work as his own P.A. Some examples of his grave were sending DMs, and sharing links. After this mark talked about a auto video dubbing, to other languages for reels He then moves on to talking about the new “meta glasses” where he shows a live translation within a real time conversation. Along with showcases and talking about their NEW VR glasses, that they are not ready to ship as they want to make them better. With this set of updates from metas, do you think VR is a “gimmick” or are we all going to be wearing “A.I lens” or “A.I Glasses” in the same way we use smartphones today!

As part of this week's episode of "this week in social media" , we report that meta joins 49 other signatories, in calling for the EU to lessen AI Regulations, so it isn't "left out" of the AI race. On 19th September social media reported, “Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg is one of 49 signatories to a new open letter that urges EU regulators to loosen the reins on AI development in order to avoid the region falling behind the rest of the world in the broader AI race.” Meta’s and the others view, is that the EU will be fall behind on how amazing or not, a lot of their AI modes are going to be, however there is wider reporting of using not be very happy with their posts to Meta's platforms being used to train a set of “data models” This also comes as a time, where the stock market starts to question if and when the AI wave is suddenly going to have a rise in power. Meta’s Argument seem to be ““Europe faces a choice that will impact the region for decades. It can choose to reassert the principle of harmonization enshrined in regulatory frameworks like the GDPR so that AI innovation happens here at the same scale and speed as elsewhere. Or, it can continue to reject progress, betray the ambitions of the single market and watch as the rest of the world builds on technologies that Europeans will not have access to.”” I guess it brings up the question: what side is “better” , growth at all costs, or making sure we grow in the right way! The social media today report did end the report with “There are fair notes on both sides, but I’m not sure that I agree with corporate entities applying public pressure to regulatory groups, in order to benefit their interests. “ That leads back into the “power that big tech” has over how the world is changing!

As part of this week's episode of "this week in social media" , we reported that about a new infographic that from "red website design" of their KEY skills needed to be a Social media manager in 2025! They claimed the the top 9 skills “needed to be a social media manager” are 1 - Writing and editing skills There is no getting away from the fact you need to have a strong way with words, no matter if all you are doing is sharing videos or photos! ALL of them need a “copy” to tell each platform what the post is about. 2 - Listening Skill This could be down to listening to what the business / brand you are working with is saying they want from you! In whatever reason you fill, or listening to the market to understand “trends” and “understanding the client’s client pain point, to be able create better content for them” 3 - Customer care This leads into understanding the target group’s pain points, as well making strong clear actions! 4 - Analytics Something that is KEY when doing anything in the online marketing space, is being able to read and understand data, this could be views on a post, or a click through rate on a thumbnail. The better you can read and understand data, the better you will be able to “A / B test” or make those 1% gains on what you are doing with your content. 5 - Understanding how and why to use paid Paid AD or Paid content push, can be a game changer, to growing any better, however if you do it wrong. You WILL burn money.. Having a clear understanding of firstly what is the job or KPI of the AD and two how does it fit into your overall business growth plan! 6 - Rearching Something I have personally found, as I have worked on this show more and more, is the better researched your content, the “better” and more “value” you can add to your content. With the raise of misinformation or disinformation as content creators WE NEED to fact check and make sure what we are claiming or any data we are talking about is confirmed and backed up, with the facts! 7 - Photo editing With the rise of everyone having a 4k camera and a great photography camera on them every hour of every day! It will become harder and harder to stand out, so creating a CLEAR image editing style will mean your content stands out as “you”. Within the infographic cameras you should look to use “mix of original content, UGC ( user generated content ) and stock images, Personally I would stay away from “stock” images at all costs! As it will not allow you to stand out, you will just be in the sea of the same. 8 - Designing Being able to have a level of basic design skills… is NEEDED, if it comes up with Social media graphics or thumbnails for your video content! Having a good understanding of using photoshop or canvas tools, can be really helpful when it comes, fixing your clients challenges. 9 - VIdeo creation With the rise of short form and the SEO gains that can come from long form, being able to create video content has been a must needed skill to be able to work in the social media landscape in 2024, as well in years to come! What do you think is the most needed skill to work in the social media world in 2024 / 2025, let me know in the comments below!

As part of this week's episode of "this week in social media" , we report that it is looks like X has change its mind on , not banning a handful of accounts requested by the Brazil's government! As reported by the new York times “In a court filing on Friday night(20th September) , the company’s lawyers said that X had complied with orders from Brazil’s Supreme Court in the hopes that the court would lift a block on its site. As well as banning the accounts in question, X has also named a new representative in Brazil, one of the reasons it has been banned in the first place. Will this push X to becoming “more brand safe” as it is now likely to be seen, to be able to be pushed by Government to remove accounts that share “lies”, that I am sure many would agree is a good thing, but it is does bring up the question of is Elon or X standing “true” to its freedom of speech plan. Will it stand its ground, when it is “misinformation” or “disinformation” is likely to be heightened as we move into the US election in the 8 weeks. With heightened tensions in the Middle East and Russia… “X will still, however, have to pay its accumulated fines, which includes a recently announced penalty for continuing to offer the app in Brazil via VPN. Those fines will stretch into the millions, but getting X back online will obviously be worth more for the company in the long term. “ This comes as X is “Fairly dire financial situation” with advertiser seeing the platform as a NOT brand safe for them to run their ads on. There has also been reports that Elon has “As such, I do think it’s also worth noting that X has complied with similar requests in Turkey, India, and Germany, all of which have a broader value to Musk and his companies.” So is there a double standard, or does he “liking” or “looking after” one side e.g. is likes more than the other… This also comes as he has said, that he has no worries at removing or banning more “left” accounts.. Where is their “freedom of speech?”

As part of this week's episode of "this week in social media" , we reported one a new interview that came about the Beast games! The first I would like to share my thoughts and views on is from “Atozy” who has one of the people who took part in the Mr Breast Game reach out to him, and was able to giving a interview, Of course I will link the full video below - The first claim from the interviewee, was a coms challenge, from the team that was helped by Mr Breast to bring all of the game show people out to Las Vegas. It was claimed that people were given their suit to where ( number and name etc.” ) and where they got to sign NDAs and etc, most likely not given the time to fully understand or read what they were signing up to. Followed by having to wait for hours, within “trash bags” where many people got hot and etc, there were claims that food and water was given out to those who were waiting for what sounded like 8 hours or so. When at some point they told they could take the trash bags off ( that was clearly used to hire what they were wearing when it comes to moving to bus and other locations. ) so clearly the first, “challenge” that wasn’t handed in the best way, would have been clear to let everyone know they weren’t needed to be worn, when they are inside the hotel waiting to go to where the “Beast game” was going to be taking place. The interviewee claimed due to the fact they were moving 2000 people, it was “nearly 10pm” at night before they had a level of “sit down meal”, It seems to be there was of course a large set of steps missing when it comes to pre-production, little things like, how can we give 2k people a bathroom breck. How long is it going to take to film each challenge? There was more “challenges mis planning”, where one of the challenge was a brake the team into 4 groups of 500 each, where they had “400 jerseys for each team” , “ some of the big guys ran up and like grabbed the jerseys and started to hand them out to other bigger guys they would find, clearly giving them a advantage, as it is a “tug of war style challenge” it was likely that the bigger guys would have ended up at the start, so as, to who we have ever done a tug of war, the “losing side” normally ends up being pulled over each other, so some would say this is just part of the “game” but normally it is just for fun! And not for 5 million… “Where people were falling on each other” “ Nobody was trying to injure anyone in that challenge.” It also sounds like within this interview that most of the filming was at overnight, and then each person taking part was allowed to sleep during the day. This is going to create a lot of challenges and issues for your body of course, as it is not normally going to go to sleep during the day and stay up all night, and as most people would wake in the morning and go to sleep at night, the fact that “the production” was pushing people's body clock the wrong way around, takes a lot of time to get back and don’t normally “feel better” for a few days as well. ( speaking from my own examples of when bring up all night or needed to working or night and sleep in the day for whatever reason. ) And there was talk that some females taking part weren't given a change of underwear etc. , again just comes back to not fully understanding or planning or mis-planning, the Logistics of the daily needs of 2000 people and making sure they can stay on top of it, throughout filming. This is normally why in “bigger” TV and etc. show the crew as so large. Normally you have the production crew, followed by “logistics” , and “food staff etc.” There was a claim from this interviewee that “I can’t stress this enough so you can just walk out anytime you want. So if you’re not comfortable with the situation or anything you could just leave” They also claimed in this interview, that he got 2k paid for less than two weeks worth of work. “But if you got out in the first Vegas challenge, you got paid $2000.” However the interviewee says that he wasn’t aware of any NDA, saying you would ONLY get this money if you agreed not to suit us. The interviewee also claimed that a lot of the lawsuit is mostly BS, “you’re kind of a bitch or just a baby in general” for not getting food when you claimed you needed it. “Around 1000 people who made it to Canada, wanted to be there and are desperately waiting to be tell their story ,but they can’t due to NDAs” They also claimed a lot of “came from a casting company” so the question was were they people who didn’t need the money as much as others to win for example. This is ONLY half of what we found from this interview, due to time I am going to talk about the other part in two next week, but I will leave the links to the full interview down below.

How do you get better at video? By doing the videos. Over and over again. 🎥 You might hit that point where you don’t want to do another one—that's when you need to push through. When it starts to feel uncomfortable, you’re just on the edge of making it feel normal. That’s your brain resisting the growth. Sometimes, you’ve got to push beyond that comfort zone to realize you’re actually fine. You’re not that far out of your depth. Now, talking on camera is second nature for me—what used to feel uncomfortable is now just part of the process. 💪 #VideoMarketing #ContentCreation #PushYourLimits #GrowthMindset #Consistency #SocialMediaGrowth #ComfortZone #KeepGoing #EntrepreneurJourney

Here’s a piece of life advice I’ve always lived by: if you’re going to regret not doing something, just do it. Simple as that. 💥 Doesn’t matter if it fails in 20 minutes. Doesn’t matter if it completely goes wrong. The point is—you did it. You took the shot. When I started my company 8 years ago, I knew I’d hate myself if I hit 30 and hadn’t even tried. Worst-case scenario? It didn’t work, and I’d have to get a job. But that was fine. I’d still be able to say, “I tried.” And in the long run, that’s what really matters—keeping the momentum and staying in the game. 🏃‍♂️ #EntrepreneurMindset #NoRegrets #TakeTheLeap #BusinessGrowth #KeepGoing #EntrepreneurLife #Persistence #Motivation #JustDoIt

As part of this week's episode of "this week in social media" , we report that Mr beast and amazon are named in lawsuit! On the 18th September 2024, it was reported by the BBC, that Mr Beast and amazon name in lawsuit over beast games ( his amazon production , that was due to go to amazon prime ) As if all of the information, coming out from Dogpack404 and the new collaboration with KSI and Logan Paul. The BBC reported about the lawsuit. “The 54-page document also details allegations of an unsafe environment with contestants being penned into small areas, dangerous sets and insufficient background checks allowing convicted criminals to participate.” “Some, it claims, were physically injured and were not given adequate access to medical care.” With talk of also Culture of misogyny, “creating a "hostile environment" for women which included sexual harassment.” “All the claimants are seeking thousands of dollars for everyone who took part to cover "unpaid wages".” I also watched a video over the weekend that believed it would be very unlikely to go anywhere, it is like that everyone will be paid off and get to sign NDAs. There have also been reports of more challenges and worrying facts that took place on the set of the game show. Some examples of it would be “losing” medical care for those taking part and not being able to look after feminine health needs. If you do hear more about the lawsuit itself, with more details and etc. then I will be sure to cover it! Adding more challenges to this battle, CBS reported that “Mr Beast's Production company and Amazon studios creed “toxic and hostile” environment. “The plaintiffs cite an alleged production guide called "How to succeed in Mr Beast Production," which they say encourages obscenities and directs staff to "do everything" to "help" the talent "be idiots."

Let’s take a quick look at Coca-Cola. One of the biggest brands in the world, right? But why do they have ads everywhere? It’s simple—consistency. Every time you think about grabbing a drink, your brain already leans toward Coca-Cola because you've been subtly reminded of them for years. And that’s the power of branding. Coca-Cola isn’t always selling to you—they’re saying, "Hey, remember us?" The brands that have mastered marketing aren’t pushing sales; they’re building loyalty through consistent presence. They show up, stay relevant, and remain front of mind in their industry. The lesson? If you want to dominate your space, you’ve got to stay consistent. 💥 #Branding #ConsistencyInMarketing #MarketingStrategy #BrandLoyalty #BusinessGrowth #StayTopOfMind #ContentMarketing #SocialMediaStrategy

Marketing, when done effectively, speeds up the process of building trust. 💡 It’s not just about getting people to notice you—it’s about making sure they trust you enough to want to work with you. Think about it, some people might love what you do, and they probably trust you already, but are they ready to take that next step? Maybe not yet. The goal is to get them to that point quickly, so even if they don’t act immediately, you stay in their peripheral vision. When they need what you offer, they’ll think of you first. 🔥 Are you making sure your marketing is building that trust quickly? #MarketingStrategy #BuildingTrust #BusinessGrowth #VideoMarketing #StayTopOfMind #CustomerRelationships #ContentCreation
