Typical @NJTRANSIT. 5:36 pm train. Originates in Newark. Rolls in at 5:35. Can’t get doors open. People wait. And wait. Then half open, so everyone rushes to one end. Suddenly they open on the other end. Then conductor tells us to be ready with tix. We left late as usual.

Another commute from Hell - #NJTransit does it again with cancelling a rush hour train and then causing the next train to be packed to standing room only. Air conditioning seems to be coming on and off. This will be fun. We should have left 5 minutes ago but no movement yet

I'm from Jersey, so maybe my voice doesn't count here. But in my 30 years of commuting and commingling with New York colleagues, I have never heard "Lurr" once. Not even a drunk colleague slurring "L-I-R-R" while sipping Raccoon Ale in the wee hours of my youth.
