I've had a few people asking why I don't discuss Bitcoin here or on my shows. Two simple reasons. 1. It isn't my expertise. I do not cover any form of investing or speculation or currency trading. I try to avoid these type of risk based issues, always have. There are many great people out there who do I prefer to leave it to them. Nor am i am macro economist dealing with structures of money. I stick to what I do, helping people with household finances. That is more than enough to fill a few thousands hours a week. 2. I don't want to be seen to discuss it. Sadly I have the worst compliment of being one of the most scammed faces in the UK, both image, name and deep fakes. Sadly the criminals who do that use Bitcoin as a soubriquet for get-rich-quick (they're nothing to do with Bitcoin, they're just thieves) and link me and it. As its a subject I don't cover, I feel on balance its better to try to avoid discussing it rather than give them an opportunity for an easy scam win I'm sure some will disagree. But that is my stance. I don't propose to enter into a debate on it.
