End of month look at my @Kalshi trading. I'm doing mostly mention markets now. Some deets: -Left my job on Jan 22nd to give this a go full time. Only up about $100 since then, ah 😅 I'm given myself until February 22nd to either be at $3,000 port or have made $100 each in previous 7 days. -Had a -$200 mistake from a miss bond (that's the minus $81 day. Was such a killer day and I got greedy at the end! Totally skews this and yet I've gotten bailed out in some other places so I consider my gains accurate. -My win rates in markets has been stable at about 67%. However, I'm 5 for 5 on earning calls. I feel very confident in that arena. My biggest win was in one of those ($80). -Have been consistently leaving a large % of my gains on the table (sometimes 70%+) by selling out NOs early. I trusted the buy but didn't trust the hold. Biggest example was selling 60 shares of Don / Lemon No at 60c. Wanted to lock in $13 profit on the market but would have had $37. -I have still been spending serious time in sports places (which is how I built my port from $100 to $200 originally), but I haven't been betting much. The next couple weeks will be interesting if I get rocking there. -Still feeling very confused on mention markets unless I do at least an hour of research prior. It doesn't feel like I'm learning, and often I show up and dabble with small bets to get experience. Not sure where to go from here except to keep showing up. -I can't figure out where I made another $39.58 but portfolio balance doesn't lie 😂 (that GSW/MIN game perhaps) -The last day 10 days shows a lot of promise with $90, $46, $39, and $66 wins. In a month doing this I've really only had 2 bad days which were both the result of really dumb mistakes. Cut out the rule bonehead things and I'm flying. 31.2% portfolio gain in a week actually is pretty rad. If I do that for the next 3 months my port will be sitting at $11,400 by end of April. But by Feb 22 I'd only be at $990. I think I'm on the right path, and I suspect that my portfolio growth will be exponential as my knowledge, experience, and confidence meet a larger portfolio. Both with grow and compound each other. Grateful to the fellas in the discords for helping me make this a reality.
