Y-D welcomes junior Bryan Peck @BryanPeck15 a RHP from Westmont College to the Red Sox this summer. NAIA named Peck to the All-NAIA Ball Team 2 shortly after Westmont won the National Championship in 2023. He holds a 3.41 ERA and 1.09 WHIP in 253.2 innings pitched for Westmont.

We have to give a S/O to now RV @WestmontBSEBall (18-7-3, 10-1-1 PacWest), who went to Hawaii and won 8 straight, all this past week (Monday-Sunday). Junior Daniel Patterson had quite a week, going 19-for-38 with 7 extra base hits and 11 RBI, now leading the team in both home runs (8) and RBI (28) and OPS (1.125). 20 of his 43 hits have been for extra bases. Freshman Colin Callahan leads the team in hitting at .388, he's hit safely in 15 of his last 17 games. On the mound, lefty Ryan Humphreys went 12 2/3 innings across two starts on the week, going 2-0, giving up 1 run in each start and striking out 13 in total. Humphreys gave up 1 hit in his start against Chaminade. The Redshirt Junior leads the team with a 2.88 ERA. #D2Baseball
