BPD is on scene of a fatality crash in the 6100 block of E State Hwy 21 in front of Coulter AirField. Eastbound and westbound lanes are closed for the investigation. Eastbound traffic is being diverted to Wallis Rd. Westbound traffic is being diverted to Carrabba Rd. Avoid area.

BPD is responding to a major crash on W State Highway 21 at OSR involving an overturned 18-wheeler blocking both westbound lanes of travel. Traffic is being diverted around the crash at this time. Expect significant delays traveling westbound on SH 21. No injuries reported.

BPD is on scene of a major crash in the 100 block of N Earl Rudder Fwy. Northbound feeder road at University Dr. and Hwy 6 is closed, along with the exit ramp for Briarcrest Dr. off Hwy 6. NB feeder road is expected to be closed for several hours to clear crash. No injuries.

Crash involves a single 18-wheeler that has left the roadway.

UPDATE: Both northbound lanes of Highway 47 will be closed in the 3100 block. Northbound traffic on Highway 47 is being diverted onto Silver Hill Rd, to Hwy 21. BPD will be on scene investigating this crash for an extended period of time.

BPD is currently on scene of a major single vehicle crash in the 3100 block of Highway 47. Both southbound lanes are closed at this time. Traffic is being diverted eastbound on Highway 21. If you are traveling in the area, please slow down for emergency personnel.

Phone Scam. Scammers are spoofing our department phone number demanding money for outstanding warrants. Please be vigilant if you receive this call as the number will show a local number. BPD will not call demanding money for an outstanding warrant.

Lockdown has been lifted at Rudder High School.

There is no confirmed active danger at this time; however, officers will remain on scene until the assessment is complete. At this time, officers have not located or received any reports of injuries, assaults, or active violence. Additional updates will be provided.

BPD is actively investigating a reported threat at Rudder High School. Multiple Officers are on scene investigating. No credible threat has been located. This is an active situation and the school has initiated a lockdown. We ask everyone to avoid the area as we investigate.

BPD is actively looking for Roy Stokes, WM, H 6'01 W 145 , 82 YOA. Roy was last seen in the 2500 block of E Villa Maria Rd. driving a 2023 white Honda Pilot Texas Handicap Plate #7WYRN. Mr. Stokes suffers from Alzheimer's and has history of other medical issues. Call 911 if seen
