@afalkhatib You would’ve been a phenomenal addition. It’s sad that you weren’t able to share your voice on that stage

There were several attempts to get me on the DNC stage to speak and share a message of healing and unity - all were unsuccessful. I even offered to bring a hostage family and talk together about ending the war in Gaza, releasing the hostages, and confronting hate and extremism.
Drew Pavlou 🇦🇺🇺🇸🇺🇦🇹🇼@DrewPavlou

The DNC should host @afalkhatib as a Palestinian voice who is pro-peace, anti-Hamas and against the ongoing occupation. He recognises that to be pro-Palestine you must be anti-Hamas.

Over the past 30 days, 2 events have brought to me personally tears to my eyes. First was when my friend @afalkhatib family made it out of Gaza, and just hearing his nephew pronounce Luc. And second was when Amir told me about Noa and how happy he was to have his best friend back. Both of these families were incredibly important to me. I'm caught up in 2 different worlds, one where on social media the loudest voices don't seem to care about the other, but that can be changed if we stop elevating the extremists. Civilians didn't deserve any of this, my friends loved ones didn't deserve any of this, I count myself lucky to have been able to witness joy twice from people I care deeply about. But it doesn't stop that civilians are continue to pay the price, from the civilians of Gaza to the Hostages still held by Hamas. Support the protestors in Israel @AllHostages who are doing everything to get a Hostage Deal and end the War.

The killings and deaths in Rafah are horrendous and heartbreaking. Even in the early phases of the attack on the crowded city in southern Gaza, IDF bombardment has claimed hundreds of lives and continues to cause unimaginable suffering. There has not been a meaningful evacuation of civilians, especially given the limits of where they can be placed amidst widespread destruction. There are also no actual plans to address the fact that the two arteries for bringing in desperately needed humanitarian aid and supplies into Gaza, the Rafah and Kerem Shalom crossings, are closed and out of commission. On the one hand, Israel has a compelling need to seize the Rafah crossing, which was the most visible and vital representation of Hamas’s continued control of the Gaza Strip. On the other hand, doing so has a cascade of humanitarian, tactical, political, and security implications that will make the current disaster exponentially worse: how will aid get into Gaza now; what happens to civilians trying to leave; no more ceasefire negotiations, reducing the prospect of hostages being released; and increasing the likelihood of the invasion being expanded given the inevitability of fierce resistance by Hamas’s remaining fighters. The Israeli war cabinet and Netanyahu’s regime are a pathetic excuse for a government that has shown extreme disregard for the hostages’ well-being and safety. Hamas is sufficiently degraded and contained, and instead of doing everything possible to retrieve the captives, a unique opportunity was missed to implement a deal that could have been a win-win for all. It goes without saying that Hamas are ruthless criminals who have been playing deadly roulette with their people’s fate and are certainly atrocious players in this equation. But there were missed opportunities that Netanyahu and his proxies sabotaged because they really truly don’t care about the hostages and could care even less about slaughtering thousands of civilians in Rafah while dueling it out with Hamas. Utter heartbreak – Palestinians and Israelis deserve better. It’s not lost on me that my brother’s kids/wife got out one day before everything went downhill and the Rafah crossing was seized. I’m so incredibly sad for the numerous Palestinian women, children, and civilians who didn’t have such an opportunity and are now stuck in hell. May this madness end soon.

This is why it's such a massive disconnect. People from the Middle East are like" WTF ARE YOU GUYS DOING? Meanwhile people in the West are waving around Hezbollah flags and cheering on the Islamic Republic.

These idiots are celebrating an organization which has killed thousands of Syrians and is a major obstacle to political reform in my country. White leftists are a danger to our freedom and liberation.

This takes less than a minute to fill out. This needs to get hundreds of thousands to write, instead of protesting inside libraries or in subways, this can actually bring real change and stop the hunger in Gaza. It's so close, let's get this tweet of Ahmed to go viral.

I need your urgent help to write to President Biden using this link (whitehouse.gov/contact/) and the template below to urge him to launch food and aid airdrops quickly over Gaza. White House officials are currently exploring options for using U.S. Air Force aircraft to conduct these humanitarian air operations. Public support now can help positively influence and expedite the making of this life-saving decision to do the airdrops. With the provided ready-to-use/universal template, emailing the White House should literally take no more than one minute. Please help me push this over the finish line — thank you. --- Dear President Biden, I am writing to support humanitarian airdrops over the Gaza Strip. The devastation, misery, and hunger in the coastal enclave, particularly in the isolated north, require urgent action from the U.S. to prevent famine and address some of the suffering that civilians are experiencing. Conducting food and aid airdrops over Gaza is urgently and critically needed to reverse horrendous scenes of hungry civilians and famished and malnourished children. The U.S. Air Force has vast cargo capabilities and experience in carrying out humanitarian airdrops in conflict zones. C-130 and C-17 transport aircraft are ideally suited to partake in such humanitarian air operations, which have been carried out by a host of nations in recent days, spearheaded by the Jordanians, with help from France, Egypt, and the United Arab Emirates. Time is running out for rapid action that can make a dent in helping desperate civilians suffering from circumstances they can’t control. Combat conditions, logistical challenges, and red tape have made land-based aid delivery difficult. While airdrops are not a permanent solution, they are effective in quickly getting food to those in need. I urge you, Mr. President, to do the honorable and humanitarian thing and quickly launch food and aid airdrops over Gaza.

Well at least now people are going fully honest with chants of “Jews on campus take a side”. So young jewish kids have to walk around non stop and make sure to tell everyone they don’t support Netanyahu? Do you need them to flagellate themselves too? x.com/youreverydayje…

@TheCartelDel Games have been $60 for over a decade.. with inflation I’m surprised they aren’t $90 at this point. With more ambition, size, fidelity.. honestly I’m happy to shell out a premium for the devs

@PeterOvo5 Dawg I work for MSFT and you bias as hell 😅. Regardless both consoles have great games, and I’m excited for hopefully a collab of worlds edge and SC 😁.. and ES6, and hopefully a viable update for starfield. But I just played GOW and that was incredible. Both are good.
