The only things getting in one's way of become a millionaire are the work needed to make the Pokemon clone and a possible lawsuit from Nintendo.

@Thunderfang7 @detroitotaku @TerraDraca It was a self funded solo project. The more experienced developers with more resources and people just keep making Pokemon fan games.

@BrysonUltra @detroitotaku @TerraDraca From the few screenshots I saw from it, the overworld sprites look really bad, and the game seems to play more like 2D Dragon Quest games, having a mana system and 1st person combat.
