@Adeyimika05 The man came out to say the test's purpose is not to measure intelligence but to "rank" candidates. I think this confirms the board's position: that everyone who has attained at least a credit in all the important subjects at O' level is qualified for university admission.
English

Why are you exempting candidates for Education and non-Engineering Agriculture courses from UTME without explaining the reason?
Lowering standards with just 4 O’Level credits won’t fix why few people want these courses. It will only produce weaker teachers and graduates.
Transparency matters, Tell us the real reason

Candidates seeking admissions into Education Programs and Agriculture non-Engineering Courses are now exempted from UTME.

If you’ve ever struggled with consistency…
This thread is for you 🧵
1. Start small, make it too easy to fail.
2. Stop waiting to “feel ready.”
3. Show up imperfectly. Every time.
4. Discipline > motivation.
5. Track progress, not perfection.
6. Consistency isn’t about being perfect, it’s about not quitting.
What helps you stay consistent?

I finally finished reading this book.
I think it was @UnkleAyo (if I am not mistaken) that posted and recommended this book on the TL last year and I thank God I went to search for it.
This is the most difficult book I have read my entire life. I read it for 5 solid months. I will read a page or two and will ponder on it for days before I could read another page or two.
I cried so much along the line about the wickedness in the heart of men and the destruction that often followed it.
Recently I realised that anxiety and worries no longer run my life rather peace has enveloped every aspect of my life while gratitude has peaked in my mouth and my heart.
Yes, the Bible teaches me all that but reading this book opened a reality check portal in my subconscious about purpose, meaning , work, love, and suffering that made any challenging circumstances look like a walk over.
My perspective about life has been upgraded and my attitude has changed for the better.
I have decided to host a space to review this book sometime this week and I invite you all to be part of it.
People who should read this book
1. Those dealing with terminal illnesses.
2. Those dealing with identity crises
3. Those going through serious challenging situations mentally, financially, spiritually, socially and otherwise.
4. If you don't not know the meaning of your life or haven't found your reason for being alive.
5. If you have suicidal thoughts
6. If you have loved ones dealing with any of the above.
7. If you need to work on your attitude and desire a behavioural change.
8. If you venturing into a new business, career path, talent discovery etc. and need to learn what perseverance truly means.
I have read books in my life but this is the most self revealing, self determined, self healing and self giving book ever.
Will you read this book?
Will you attend my space for the review of this book?

@chinenyeway @UnkleAyo The person who recommended the book did you a great kindness. It is a very good read.

@mayorde4you2 It can be hard to think about commitment after being all about that for years and getting betrayed.
English

@SolaTheAnalyst Kids don't care what people think. Many adults are obsessed about being even in the good books of strangers, it is why many don't make progress. Their attempts need permission.

@Dr_Gbe1000 Confine her to the hospital until delivery. After the baby is weaned, the woman should pay for her crimes with six months stay in a correctional center.

@ex_neighbour @Msmenalicious People grow, change and have different views from time past. This was from years ago, today's take is still valid even if something contradictory was said yesterday.

Those small insults here and there “you dey craze”, “you dey mad”, “if I woze you”, “you are useless”, “you are a big fool”..
I personally do not like using words like this on someone I love even as play.

What’s a “small” red flag people ignore too often in relationships?
English

@Tallesty_ The post says eggs can ignore the fastest sperm because it isn't genetically healthy. Looking it up further shows this could prevent birth defects and the formation of embryos that die. How you arrived at "women making terrible choices being genetical" is weird.
English

Meaning that women making terrible choices is genetical. This is interesting.

🚨: A study in Sweden showed that the egg can ignore the 'ideal' sperm, even if it's the first one to arrive

@chisomholic As far as islam and Christianity are concerned, the word "religious" simply means following a set of rules laid down by God. Most Nigerians agree our streets don't confirm this adherence. We are not a stupid people, we're just very emotional, uninformed, forgetful and passive.
English

Saudi Arabia, the bedrock of Islam, is one of the richest countries in the world. Ireland and Luxembourg are highly religious and on the rich list as well.
Religion itself is not the problem. We're really just stupīd people, reason why in our poverty, people still support APC.
N.M.A@peculiarchichii
The more religious a country is, the more poverty stricken it becomes. Example: Nigeria

@kellytheboss7 Aggression is a defense move often used by females when they sense an incoming attack. It never breeds respect or admiration for anyone. Set boundaries, self-respect and basic self care (if at work) guarantee reciprocation. Assertiveness never fails.
English

I’ve noticed that some people think neurotypicals only respect aggression, while kindness is seen as weakness—but that’s an oversimplification.
In reality, respect doesn’t come from being mean or confrontational. It comes from being clear, confident, and consistent with your boundaries. You can be firm without being cruel, and still be taken seriously.
Kindness isn’t a disadvantage—it just needs to be paired with self-respect and direct communication.

@SolaTheAnalyst Incentivising contents to pull more traffic, subscribers and advertisers has ruined the space. I see your angle as this new norm is only an effect, but engagement shouldn't be seeds. It birthed cabals, the herd mentality and there's meeting 5M impressions, the house wins always
