We’ve started developing a stronger video presence. Pray for @thetangles as he works on Something Genuine, and for God to guide plans for other parts of it.

God is taking Beneath the Tangles through a shift in ministry as new projects being and faithful servants depart. Please pray for obedience, faithfulness, and wisdom for leadership to follow him wherever He takes us.

We want to envision big things, including a ministry that shakes down walls for Christ across the vast space of the anime fandom. Pray that fans will think of Jesus when they think of anime, and may BtT be used by God to make miraculous things happen in this sphere.

Many Christians find our site as they seek resources about anime. Pray that we’ll be able to support and encourage them to seek God more fully on their Christian walks.

Pray for wisdom and discernment for Mecahawk and Lenlenkai as they lead our small group, and for Jake in his role of our team builder and small group overseer.

Pray that God will provide financially for Beneath the Tangles and that we’ll use our finances raised through Patreon (patreon.com/thetangles), Ko-Fi (ko-fi.com/beneaththetang…), Throne (throne.com/beneaththetang…), and other platforms in a faithful manner.

Pray for the writers of Beneath the Tangles. May they write with a focused and prayerful heart, using their skills and guided by the Holy Spirit to develop articles that draw people to the site, to godly community, and ultimately, to God.

Pray for our editor, Dr. Steve. May God grant him wisdom, and may he be diligent as he molds our articles into excellent pieces that communicate God’s love through the writers’ analyses but also by demonstrating excellence in our craft.

Pray for wisdom and strength for Mecahawk, Lenlenkai, and @thetangles, the BtT Discord admins, as they seek to develop community and model Christ to the members, and for our mods, Archy and Joli—may they carry out their role with wisdom, compassion, and character.

Pray for our Instagram ministry (instagram.com/beneaththetang…) and for @thetangles and Joseph as they lead it. May it be used as a tool to draw followers nearer to God.

Pray that the Beneath the Tangles Tumblr (beneaththetangles.tumblr.com) will grow in followers and be a place where Christians and non-Christians alike will read and be impacted by our articles, and for @thathilomgirl as she leads it.

Our small group meets on Sundays. Pray that our members draw nearer to God, that those who aren’t saved do meet Christ and accept him as Lord and Savior, and that our members all find good local Christian communities to join.

Please pray that our Facebook account (facebook.com/beneaththetang…) will help our audience connect more deeply with Christ and continue our work of building God-centered community, and for WacOtaku as he leads the efforts.

Our SXSW coverage begins today. May God use our work during this event to open doors through building connections and sharing his message.

The season finale of our new video interview series, Something Genuine, drops today! Praise God for opening a new way to reach audiences through this ministry! Please also pray as we plan for wisdom as @thetangles plans season two and for God to continue to open doors through it.

Pray for our artists and content creators: for @WhoWhatWhitArt as draws art, Marg as she creates graphics, @FanboyAverage as he films shorts, and @nyanroh32 as he makes videos. May they engage people in this space and lead them closer to godly community and ultimately, you.

Pray for our Discord server—may it be a place where Christ is the center and lead of conversation as the members talk about faith and also their other interests, and as they build friendships with one another.

Pray for the evangelistic mission of BtT—that our team members have opportunities to witness and share the gospel to the otaku community and that these conversations open doors for the Holy Spirit to convict hearts.

Pray that as Beneath the Tangles staff members interact with followers, they participate in the work of raising disciples.
