Since Maki is connected to Mai via them being twins the restriction was registering Mai's CE as Maki possessing some CE. Mai dying truly gave Maki 0 CE so~ boost!

If I ignore the insane amount of dumb plot armor that happened this episode, I really enjoyed Severance's finale. I really, really love how deep they're digging into the theme of autonomy and this moment specifically, I cried. Helly coming to terms with how she's just a part of a greater monster in Helena. The innie vs outtie dynamic is really well done with Dylan coming to terms with his life, Mark trying to save Gemma, and Helly still going back fo her love. Again, lot of stupid logic in the plot, but really good emotional and thematic development.

Kanye is brought up on stage to perform "for the kids" but instead of going up there to party, he doesn't conform to the game and speaks on real issues affecting the underprivileged in the school system. Kendrick could have played the game too, hints at playing it even (2/4)
