Same, I'd say I was 225 where on my frame should have been like 195, would eat like once a day in the afternoon, probably like 210 now, but since mid January basically went more keto targeted diet, good fats, no sugar, etc. I do basically the same thing as before, but it doesn't feel like a sacrifice, you're just full for a long time after you eat lol

This is sad. I know as a politician these companies are going to spend a billion dollars against me for saying it but 🤷🏽‍♀️ Pervasive gambling is not good for society. It turns life into a casino, traps people in addiction & debt, surges domestic violence, and fosters manipulation.

Yes, a caloric deficit will still lead to weight loss even with insulin resistance or slow metabolism—it's energy balance (calories in vs out). IR can slow progress by promoting fat storage & hunger, making it feel harder, but consistent deficit works & often improves IR over time. Slow metabolism typically from aging/muscle loss, hypothyroidism, genetics, chronic low-calorie diets, poor sleep, or meds.

Yea I get what you're saying, I just think it's not apples to apples, of course everyone looks more fondly on the time when they were a child For me this is pre/post digital world specifically, when I was growing up young girls wouldn't have dared sell their body to avoid doing actual work, people had to go do something with themselves to meet people, people were less brainwashed in general

@Buck__AF I don’t personally disagree, I think things were better then too, but I think most modern-times generations would say the same thing about the past. Partially recency bias. It’s impossible to measure which generation enjoyed “their” past more. Internet I’m torn on.

@Buck__AF Think bigger picture though is with these types of posts people generally associate these things with a time in their life where they had more innocence and less responsibilities. Every generation has looked at the past, their younger years the same. Kids today will too.
