@FightMA01003 I think part of it is because of the Hawaii Exemption. Playing at Hawaii lets them schedule an extra non-conference game and they prob just wanted to add whoever they could. Now with the Hawaii cancellation it looks bad, but wouldnt be as bad if they had 13 games and 11 were FBS

UMass will open their MAC schedule this coming season against newest MAC member Sac State on the road in California's capital
They also confirm the back-to-back FCS opponents to open up the home slate
At this stage, in a conference, UMass should not be scheduling multiple FCS

Great season for UMass hockey comes to a close tonight. Minutemen won't make the NCAAT and while that is disappointing, this team pulled themselves out of the cellar in December to make it to the Garden today
