They can't trade them all at once. This fanbase needs to exercise some patience. Hypothetically, let's say they sold off Hughes, Sherwood, Kane, Myers, Kampf and DeBrusk all prior to the TDL, that's a massive (and still fairly realistic) amount of work for only a few months. This management group already makes more trades than anyone. They're selling at a good pace so far. Even if Hronek isn't traded this year, it doesn't mean they've missed an opportunity. It's possible he may even gain value still, and there's value organizationally by having him mentor Buium and Willander in the short term rather than feeding them to the wolves.

Filip Hronek being considered an untouchable would be the nail in the coffin for any management group employed by a competent team. He's great, but he shouldn't be untouchable. Not at this point in the Canucks cycle, and not at his age.
