When I’m Governor of Texas, we will adopt Medicaid expansion because Texas needs it badly. We are the state with the highest amount of uninsured people, and they need affordable care. Our current Governor may choose to leave Texans behind, but I won’t.

Look, I’m against unfair gerrymandered maps no matter who drew them, be it a Texas Republican or a Louisiana Democrat. I ask the Governor to reconsider the use of this clearly unfair map and draw one that better represents Louisiana.

This is why Texas needs change. Our “Governor” rigs the maps to help out his preferred party. When I’m in office, I’ll work to make sure Texas congressional maps are actually fair. Enough of this partisan nonsense.

@Buckey4TX @PoliGSim It does! Under new Interior policy, the state is encouraged to submit proposals to the Department of the Interior for state-owned land it thinks should be a National Park. In the meantime, set up a Civilian Conservation Corps (or equivalent) to make Texas’s parks even better!

I am officially announcing the indefinite suspension of the state $0.24 gasoline tax. Making affordability a top priority of my administration is something we will strive for. In addition all Kansas residents making less than $28,000 in the fiscal year of 2017 will be eligible for a one time $200 tax credit and will be exempt from the state income tax for fiscal year 2017.

Look, I have my personal objections to the practice of abortion, but that aside, banning abortion full-stop literally sentences some women to death, like those with ectopic pregnancies. I pray the court chooses to uphold Roe.
