@OSUHoopsInsider For the most part - visits are for the guys not getting the big bucks. Most just want to know how many zeros they are getting and don’t need to visit. Obviously - a few exceptions to this rule.

We are currently in a recruiting dead period that ends today, April 9. What does that mean? 🚫 NO in-person visits 🚫 NO evaluations or scouting ✅ YES to calls, texts, and DMs What happens next? Starting tomorrow, April 10, the gates swing open! Campus visits and face-to-face meetings begin as players look for their next home. Do not be alarmed if a player does not take an in-person visit as this happens with the transfer portal.

@Dan_Hope If you say so - but I think the real number is probably tied towards their “internal” salary cap and not how many scholarships they plan to award.

@Bucknut2203 105 is the roster limit, but Ohio State is only going to have around 90 scholarship players.

With the portal now closed for 2026, Ohio State had 31 scholarship players enter the transfer portal this year. The Buckeyes have added 16 transfers. 47 total outgoing players, including seniors and NFL draft entries. 44 incoming players, including 28 freshmen, so a few spots remain if the Buckeyes find anyone else they want to add.

@OSUHoopsInsider They re-set the score each quarter - but I heard the same. And I’m sure you also heard that they didn’t keep official track of fouls - but Bradshaw had around 10 of them. We need to keep him on the floor!

I heard Ohio State beat Ohio University 81-49 in the scrimmage. Meechie was the leading scorer and best player on the floor with 16 points and shooting over 50 percent. Bradshaw and Parrish were also double figures in scoring. All scholarship Buckeyes finished the game with points.

@OSUHoopsInsider Yes. It’s also the lack of impact. Only 3 were rotational players last season. A better barometer is career salary or years of service. Hopefully, we will start to be higher on these lists moving forward. OSU should always be top 10.

@Bucknut2203 10 guys in the NBA is embarrassing? Also, I put two guys on here that played half of their college career at OSU before transferring and then going pro. I still support them.
