Unusual ending to Chase Elliott's news conference as he stumps for his uncle Ernie Elliott to be elected into the NASCAR Hall of Fame. Urges fans to vote for Ernie Elliott in the fan vote (which counts for one combined vote in HOF voting). Chase's news conference was over, but he asked to say something before leaving the stage.

I like to see them race in the best conditions possible. I don't find racing in the rain as exciting to watch as in the dry because I find watching them show their skill in the dry more enjoyable/impressive. And if it rains, there could be too much spray/puddling to race safely.

NASCAR's Mike Forde, on Hauler Talk podcast, said they viewed Preece as intentional (just like Hamlin-Chastain at Phoenix, he said he's going to do it). On Kyle Busch, car damaged, SMT data showed steering wheel turned left just to go straight and no SMT data showing intentional.
