So that the publishers would see the potential of bringing the merchandise over. I know it all too well, just that at this stage of my life I can't afford to do it anymore.

The horror of running pr campaign for an anime / ln most of the time with out own fan trans to get Vietnamese publishers to see the potential and decided that negotiating with Japanese publishers is worth it is

@wa_touken @wokehorse7007 I'll always look back fondly at some of the lns that we as a Vietnamese fan group supported both financially and through social media and providing fan trans took off and get official translation fondly but I don't got the energy or the heart to do it no more.

Maybe I'll do a Reborn! rewatch to be reminded of my childhood and that's about it. I don't even keep contact with any of the fandom I used to interact with.

@Buda_best_ @wokehorse7007 I want you to understand that you can't just set out to create a "mainstream hit" on purpose. *Isekai Suicide Squad* was a project aimed at overseas fans of superhero shows—though I personally thought, "OMG seriously? Isekai? Why?"—but did it end up being a smash hit?
