Carl Weathers had never boxed before Rocky (1976) and during his audition, Weathers was asked to spar and read lines with the screenwriter (Sylvester Stallone), whom he didn't realize was also the star of the film. Going over the #Panthers roster for a story for next week. And man, this is going to be a tough 53-man roster to crack for returning special teams staples, let alone UDFAs or futures contract players. There are still places to upgrade and injuries happen, but there's a lot of (at least baseline) depth in quite a few spots.
