@MADkurious When a game launches with 10 DLC cosmetic packs I just think "Scumbag pieces of shit" and I actively root for their downfall. I would rather these companies and games not exist at all. The market is saturated enough without nostalgia being weaponized

@BudgetGoku @MobofJoggers it doesnt favour child death. the oncoming car has to be above a certain speed where fatal percentages come into play, lets say thats 80%. now what is the percentage of occupants in a car, what else is around e.t.c. it also cannot know who is in the car, is it 3 children? e.t.c

@BudgetGoku @MobofJoggers there is a cutoff point when a child enters FOV too late the car defaults to avoid cars always. if a child enters FOV early it will then also check speed of oncoming car on opposite lane. it will choose to hard brake with mild swerve to enter the percentages of random success

405x3 "it ain't much but it's honest" On squats the worst part of titrating back up after a lay off is how heavy the weight feels on your back. I've dont 405x10 but it felt heavier today than then. Nothing you can do about it but push through.

"Look up to go up!" Both the most prevalent and most counterproductive cue ever used in training.

First the most controversial, looking down in the low bar squat. I like a more gentle downward angle than is taught in textbook Starting Strength, more like 6-10 feet forward on the floor than the 3-6 feet in SS. I find this better balances thoracic extension and not getting into a 'squat-morning' with proper strong hip drive. Looking straight ahead or even up are still the norm in powerlifting, with many still seeing looking down not just as a personal preference but a literal technique error they will correct you on, but you do see more people looking down over time. Their rationale is not really more sophisticated than "look up to go up!" or "the body follows the head!" both of which are really just not true. What is true is that where the head goes in the squat, the TORSO will tend to follow. Which is exactly why we don't want the head to look up. We want the torso to maintain its angle as you initiate the rebound out of the hole, so that the lift is hip and leg driven, not spinal erector driven. The back's role is to be a transmission for the much bigger, more powerful legs and hips to move the bar. Looking up tends to pull the chest up via back extension, thus changing the back from a potentially efficient transmitter of the hips and legs powerful forces, to an inefficient producer of its own forces.
