@tylerlaser17 @ByMHarrington Sleep walking is an understatement. They were losing battles where they outnumbered Boston. No one put enough energy to elevate a shot over an outstretched pad. Missed assignments and letting Boston run circles in their zone at times. Lack of effort not lack of energy.

@ByMHarrington i don’t know from a fans POV on TV they looked like they were sleep walking and got lucky Lyon was outstanding. A lot different than the 3 games they won that’s for sure. Hopefully tomorrow will answer more questions about the eagerness

@BillerVan The issue isn’t physical while chasing the puck it was how Sammy was puck watching while Pasta casually went to the blue line. Bush league play. You either need to completely cut off any pass lane or make it so if he does get the puck you’re already in front of him. Did neither

Someone who knows hockey better than me please explain why Sammy wasn’t more physical here? We were getting mugged and no calls in OT. Why didn’t we take advantage of that here?

@jjl_ice_yard @TageForHart I think that plays even more in why Samuelsson was the problem. He had time to make sure that no pass could get to him or if it did make sure that Pasta could do nothing with it. But he waned to show NO effort and it cost them a goal. And we will hear no account from it.

@DavidLauzon18 @TageForHart That’s modern day cherry picking. The puck was in the defensive zone not in Boston’s possession when his skates hit the ice. He skated towards the Sabre blue line where Mattias’s dumbass decided not to pick him up. Great play by Pasta not hate towards him. Completely on the 23.

It looked like Samuelsson clearly didn’t expect the pass to be made like it did. Which is a failure on a NHL defenseman

I knew it was over when I saw Greenway and Stanley on the ice at the same time for over a minute. In overtime. In the playoffs. In a game to clinch the series.
