MAC Playoffs Round 1: In the west, the defending conference Champions (NIU) defeat WMU and look to make another run to the finals. In the East, Buffalo takes down BGSU and advance to face the Kent State.

Finally, in the 3rd and final week of cross division matchup-ups, the East Division asserts it's dominance in Season 20 over the West, winning 13 out of the 18 games, foreshadowing what should be an exciting playoff race in weeks 13-17. See you in Segment 3!

In week 15 of MAC-tion the playoff picture starts to take shape. In the West, Toledo and Ball State win, bumping CMU out of playoff position. In the East, Buffalo remains undefeated, and Kent State defeats Miami to keep their slim playoff hopes alive.

Week 14 saw the Anniversary Award take centre stage as BGSU took down Kent State. In the west, WMU defeats EMU and sets up an epic week 16 as the battle of the Golden Cannon will also decide the 'Kings of Michigan'!

In week 13 MAC-tion, Ball State takes the season 18 Bronze Stalk Trophy, and CMU gets an early lead in the 'Kings of Michigan' race with a win over EMU, also jumping WMU for 2nd place in the West!

The final week of cross-division matchups comes to an end and Buffalo remains the lone undefeated team heading into the non-conference weeks. Toledo, WMU, and CMU sit tied atop of the West. Divisional action starts week 13!
