@ErickLorinc The constant flubbing of this franchise over the years has been baffling as it's a GENERATION DEFINING SHOW. - Cancelling Angel in its prime - Nobody green lighting the animated Buffy spin-off - Awful 16:9 DVD's and botched upscaled HD - Sequel series cancelled

We'll have no idea if this is a shame or not, but can Disney not fix the original series (and Angel) up so that we have watchable HD versions?

The only thing that will save Disney’s reputation is if they redid the Buffy HD remaster.

Girls only want one thing and it's an authentic digital remaster of Buffy that maintains the original color grading and aspect ratio.

The Buffy Remaster is so bad I'm somewhat surprised it hasn't resulted in legal action. It's like the Cats (2019) of old tv show remasters.

The scene with Buffy and Giles is particularly awful. I tried to recapture the gothic atmosphere of the shots in Dracula's mansion.@brianwankum

As you can see, the HD version has no nuances in its colors. It suffers from a very strong golden tint that makes it difficult to isolate the colors.

For many fans, season 5 of Buffy is one of the best. Unfortunately, it didn't receive any special treatment for its HD version. @brianwankum #BuffyHD
