Let’s stick to the truth, Elon. I don’t usually defend the British justice system, but Tommy Robinson’s actions against Jamal Hijazi, a Syrian schoolboy, were utterly vile. He accused Jamal of violently attacking English girls without evidence, sparking a wave of harassment against the teenager. Not content with just baseless allegations, Robinson went on to produce an entire film targeting Jamal, which was nothing short of a public smear campaign. Despite being ordered by the court to stop spreading these alleged lies, Robinson repeatedly breached the injunction and admitted to doing so. In my opinion, an 18-month sentence is too harsh, but what Tommy Robinson did to Jamal Hijazi, a teenager (!!!), was not okay. It is entirely legitimate to oppose mass immigration and the Islamization of Europe, but such behavior against a kid crosses every ethical line.

Why are rapists given suspended sentences in the UK, but this guy gets 18 months in solitary confinement, despite doing nothing violent?

Yes, the terms of service WHICH IS subjective and the same violation. Either no one or everyone gets paid.
