Weekly prep video is up. Covered the market backdrop, key names on watch, macro catalysts, and where I’m looking for opportunity heading into the week. The goal isn’t to predict. It’s to prepare, define risk, and stay ready when price confirms. Watch here 👇 youtu.be/YaNH5ui5l5k

May 21, 2026 - Kissing, Rotating and Tossing Babies $SNDK $MU $NBIS $BE $LITE $MRVL $CIEN $APLD $DOCN $NVDA $CRWD $GLW $ORCL $CBRS $PLTR $APP A) Portfolio Management Position management is an art, as in it is personal. It goes beyond the technicalities on individual charts of "is it correct to buy or sell here", but is an action to ensure that the overall portfolio mix, exposure and my actions is aligned with how I see about the market and my mental at the now and then time. There has certainly been more "portfolio managements" done this month, of me trying to navigate through a scenario of crazy melt-up, volatility, pull back and rotations. Things like do I reward strength on name A but sell into strength on name B? Trim, or buy into weakness for C, but hold through the PB for D? Hardware or software? Hold laggards or focus fire on winners? What SIZE (naturally it is less material e.g. if I am stalking a laggard, trimming some position or chased the strength with just 2%)? On transaction records these looks like mindless overtrading, e.g. a new name could be bought then I sold it off even "it hasn't done anything wrong", then I bought it back again a few days later. The decision is made on a day by day basis as every new news come to light (e.g. "OpenAI Guaranteed Capacity" ==> focus back onto hardware and compute), and reacting to the new price actions across various sectors and charts. And the brutal fact is, I would never know if I had made the most optimal decision by outcome, there is no regrets and no "could've, would've", risks and rewards are managed in real time in an attempt to strike a balance. Also, my portfolio can sure look vastly "different" from another trader which is very successful yet our cognition and interpretation can be different, and I am fine with that. Reminder that you don't have to do what I do, and it is surely disastrous trying to copy another trader, each is just different. B) Portfolio (& still just a snap shot as of today) AI Memory $SNDK $MU are still heaviest at 40%ish in total, the trains are trying to get back on track after some volatility shocks from Samsung's originally planned strike and leveraged/ de-leverage from the retails. AI Opticals $LITE $MRVL $CIEN $GLW, another conviction sector, at around 25%. What Leopold exit in his 13F Q1 doesn't mess up with my process. On the AI compute/ energy, I am pleased with $NBIS $BE and $APLD which all three have new catalysts, nailed double digit % return today. Together with a smaller position in $ORCL (a name which is part software part compute) they made up about 30%. $NVDA released earnings, not sure if this elephant can still dance, but willing to stay with 4% weight. Small position in $CBRS is still under water, entries could be a bit too early amidst the IPO craze but is a ticket price I am willing to pay. The rest are mainly software $DOCN $CRWD (8% in total after some trims) and less than 2% positions in $PLTR and $APP anticipating a possible change of charater (these two reversal ideas haven't really conquered important pivots above and can definitely fail, hence the <2% more as an observation positions, amid other names which are working well). C) Recent Relevant Post 1. Portfolio Management for Melt Up x.com/wey_how12640/s… 2. Mental Acceptance for PB x.com/wey_how12640/s… 3. Understanding Rotation x.com/wey_how12640/s… 4. Personally going away for a 2 week vacation, so I won't be too aggressive in positioning nor active in trading. Let's see if I can hold these names for 10 years. Wait, let's strike a balance, 2 weeks. Remember to trade your own process, not your emotion.

@BuiltByTrading Wait to see if tomorrow we pull and hold 50% or greater of today’s move. Then you can get involved and use tomorrow’s low to lean on.

@Babyfish_TG Missed the day one. Have alerts at top of today's pivot. But gapping up a decent amount already tonight. Missed the news if there was some. Most likely missed this trade. but most likely actionable mid to late next week after some rest or selling to reset

@NickSchmidt This happens to me frequently too. I prep for a lot of names, and miss a good amount that work out according to my plan. I just miss the entries and run without me. Part of the bizzz. The great thing is, setups will always be there! NEXT!

Having a thesis on a stock and it playing out perfectly without you is one of the worst feelings. Last year for me that was $GEV it was a special setup I was laser focused on. I took like 5 losses executed terrible. I was right but I made no money. Think I actually may have been right and lost money 🤣 I learned from it though. Made sure to focus when the same setup appears. If it wasn't for screwing up $GEV I would not have had nailed $MU which has been my best trade so far of the year. The pattern for me has always been something that really sucked or was painful has eventually turned into experience that made me more money in the future.

Being right about a stock and making money are two completely different skills. Watched $GEV's base develop for months. Picture perfect setup. It's playing out exactly how I imagined and I don't own a single share.

Step away when you make your money for the day and go enjoy your life. If you're on tilt, or feel like you're about to, step away and go enjoy your life. If you have hit your trade execution limit for the day, step away and go enjoy your life. Screens are not everything.
