COCOA: When setting up a new cocoa farm, intercrop the cocoa with food crops: banana, cassava, yam, beans, soya bean, groundnuts, maize to provide initial shade for newly planted cocoa seedlings. These also serve as a source of food and income. #CoCoDevProject #CocoaIsTheNewGold

Today, we hosted technical & political leaders from Miirya Sub-county, Masindi District, for an exposure visit ahead of the 2026 first planting season. They explored improved technologies in coffee, maize, poultry, apiary & aquaculture to boost productivity and farmer incomes.
