I'll own my choices. I did not agree that the US taking out Iran's nuclear sites was the best decision -- not that it would necessarily put us into danger, but that it was just plain unnecessary. Israel was doing fine on their own. If we hadn't done the heavy lifting, I'm confident they would have eventually. Having said that, the outcome is exactly what was anticipated, and was likely the fastest and safest path to de-escalation. Time will tell if the path holds, but the urgency should now fall off, and that's precisely what is needed for negotiations to begin. I didn't think bombing Iran was the best strategy available. Looks like I may have been wrong. I can admit that. And I'd rather be wrong like this, than be proven right with the launch of WWIII. Go Team USA! 🍻
