This is largely being ignored but it's easily one of the biggest China news of the year. What China is doing with Hainan - a huge island (50 times the size of Singapore!) - is pretty extraordinary: they're basically making it into a completely different jurisdiction from the rest of the country, and an extremely attractive entry gate for the Chinese market. You can now import most products in the world (74% of all goods) entirely duty free into Hainan. And, if you transform the product and add 30% value locally, you can then send it to the rest of mainland China completely tariff-free. So for instance: import Australian beef into Hainan tax free. Slice it and package it for hotpot in Hainan: it can enter all mainland supermarkets duty-free. They also have insanely low corporate tax rates: 15%, lower than Hong Kong (16.5%) and Singapore (17%) or the rest of the mainland (25%). That's not all, Hainan now has different rules from the rest of China in dozens of areas: HEALTH: Basically the rule is that if a medicine or medical device is approved by regulatory agencies anywhere in the world, it can be used in Hainan - even if banned on the mainland. Which undoubtedly makes it THE place in the world with the widest range of medical treatments available. NO FIREWALL: Companies registered in Hainan can apply for unrestricted global internet access OPEN EDUCATION: Foreign universities can open campuses without a Chinese partner VISA-FREE: 86 countries get visa-free entry, probably one of the most open places in the world CAPITAL: Special accounts let money flow freely to and from overseas - normal mainland forex restrictions don't apply So they're running a pretty extraordinary "radical openness" experiment there. They're basically building a "greatest hits" of global free zones: Singapore's tax regime, Switzerland's medical access, Dubai's visa policy - all in one giant tropical island attached to the 1.4 billion people Chinese consumer market.

The market is down, but the $SNEK community keep growing. Now the Chinese $SNEK community have surpassed 3000 members. We just got the loan passed and we will have the $SNEK DEN Taiwan edition with many surprises next weekend. Some people fear, and we just keep building.

My understanding of the network situation: There is no confirmed “full network outage”. Block production slowed down, and some explorers were not updating correctly, which created the impression that no blocks were being produced. In reality, blocks were still coming in, just more slowly. The root cause is a software inconsistency between different node versions. Some SPOs were running versions that not handle a particular network condition correctly. Meanwhile, nodes running the stable version 10.1.4 behaved as expected and continued producing blocks. Intersect released an urgent fix (10.5.2), and pools on the affected versions are currently upgrading. This is a software issue, not an operator mistake. The chain is stabilising, the fix came out, and the ecosystem responded quickly.

关于 $NIGHT 解锁期，我的理解： 今天是Midnight挖矿阶段Scavenger Mine的最后一天， 完了之后我们会进入下一个阶段,就是解锁期。 老茶发推文说Midnight 上线是在12 月 8 日。 那么理论上来说从那天开始，解锁期就开始了。 关于解锁期，我看了代币经济学和官网的说明，以下是我的理解： 🟢你的 $NIGHT 不会一次性给你，解锁是四次，每次 25%，总时长 360 天。 这里面有几个核心机制： 1. 每个钱包都有“随机首解锁日” 你会被分配一个随机数，在 1 到 90 天范围内。 由于解锁是 四次，每次 25%，总时长 360 天。 那么这个随机这个数字决定了你第一批 25% $NIGHT 在哪一天解锁。 例，如果抽到的随机数字分别是 1， 25， 90： Day 1 分配 → 1, 91, 181, 271 Day 25 分配 → 25, 115, 205, 305 Day 90 分配 → 90, 180, 270, 360 所以这个还是有点看运气的，运气好分配到低数字的，可以先领。 2. 你可以选择分批领，也可以等 360 天一起领 但每领一次，都要付一次 Cardano 网络手续费（很低，大约 0.16–0.17 ADA 左右）。 3. 一些特殊分配（基金会、TGE、财库等）跟我们无关，它们不是这次 claim 的内容，规则是：基金会 和 TGE的币 可立即流通、财库 和 Reserve 会按协议锁定。 🟢当挖矿期结束之后（还有9个小时），你要关注三件事： A. 等上线日期（老茶推文给的日期是 12 月 8 日） 这一天之前，什么都做不了。 B. 上线后，Claim Portal 会开放。 到时候去 NIGHT Claim Portal 检查你的“解锁 schedule” Portal 会告诉你你的随机首日是多少，比如 14、37、89 之类。 你会看到四个解锁点，例如： 第 1 次：Day 37 第 2 次：Day 127 第 3 次：Day 217 第 4 次：Day 307 C. 每次解锁后，你可以选择： 立即 redeem 那一批 25% NIGHT 或者 一直等到最后一次解锁（360 天）再一次全领 每一次转账行为都是一次 Cardano 交易，大约需要 0.16–0.17 ADA。 如果你懒，很多人会选择等到全部解锁完，再一次领完，手续费只付一次。 但如果你想提前使用／流通／卖出，那就每次都领。 #Midnight

上期视频里讲了那个 repo事件（回购市场拉升）：当时就说，短期对加密不利。因为现在市场缺现金， 银行、基金、机构都在抢美元流动性， 大家需要现金，就只能抛掉手里的风险资产， 包括比特币和其他加密货币。 所以今天市场下跌是合理的反应。 这里有一个重要概念，TGA（Treasury General Account）， 也就是财政部在美联储开的账户。所有美国政府的收支都经过这个账户。 政府发债或收税时，钱进TGA；政府发工资、付军费、补贴时，钱从TGA流出。 所以，TGA上升 = 政府在吸走市场流动性；TGA下降 = 政府在把钱花回市场。 最近美国不是政府停摆（government shutdown）吗？ 财政部需要赶紧补充现金储备，也就是所谓的 TGA Refill。 他们要发新债，把市场上的现金吸进财政部账户。 问题是： 市场上的现金是有限的。财政部一抽钱，银行系统里的准备金就少了，这就导致银行之间开始在repo市场上抢美元。 银行现在愿意花比美联储“无风险利率”高很多的钱，只为了借到现金。说明市场上美元现金非常紧张。他们手里都是债，缺流动性。抛售资产是正常反应。 但别慌。 中长期，美联储最终一定要出手救市。 因为整个美国金融体系建立在信贷扩张的逻辑之上。 不印，整个系统就崩。 他们的动作名义上可能叫： “Liquidity injection（流动性注入）” 或者 “Balance sheet expansion（扩表）” 说白了就是变相印钞。 而只要美联储放水、扩表、恢复流动性， 风险资产都会重新得到支撑。 所以现在是现金吃紧期，短线谨慎； 但从中期看，这是新一轮流动性周期的前奏。 长期，这加深美国金融系统的根本脆弱性。这次事件反映了一个结构性问题：美国的债务太多，银行准备金太少， 整个系统越来越依赖Fed不断“打补丁”。 长远来看，这会削弱美元信用，而硬资产（包括加密货币）会成为系统性对冲工具。 每一次流动性危机，最终都变成印钞的理由。 保持冷静，守好资产 ，谨慎乐观。

I got emotional, and I shouldn’t have.  Since I joined MEXC 2 months ago I’ve been fighting behind the scenes to get MEXC to change. We grew really fast—a few years ago, we were a very small exchange, but given our current scale, our risk, operations, and PR teams have not kept up. We’re going to change that. I’ve been driving the leadership team to recognize the issues, identify changes we need to make and improve on our transparency.
