@johnnyddavidson Only two men to blame for Fev's current situation, and neither work for RFL . Fev's historic screwing over by RFL still stands, but not this one. They're separate issues.

There was no corruption from the RFL to let Featherstone die. Featherstone died because they were run terribly, overspent and didn’t pay what owed. The RFL showed proper leadership in not allowing people to write off debts and then just start again. I believe Fev will rebuild in the future

New statement from Chris Hamilton (via Rovers 2026 Facebook) clarifying the current situation down Post Office Road:

🎫 | The Club in conjunction with main sponsor 247 Blinds have created a 'Rovers Return' 2026 season ticket for Rovers Supporters with 50% of the income being ring fenced to pass on to any successful, full or part, Fev supporter ownership bid. If that doesn't materialise, then we will commit to donating the funds to the @FevRoversRLFC Foundation at the end of the season. Fev club shop doing a roaring trade this week, but to whom do the proceeds go? 🤔

@MikeB237 Of course it should. But I think there should be transparency for all involved. For example, I have seen some fans allude to "helping the club" by buying what would've been this season's shirt.

@BullockShed Do you not think the company that bought the shirts should receive the money from sales?

I'm told that proceeds from sales at the Fev club shop go to 'Rovers Events', a seperate entity to the club, which is of course in the hands of the administrators. A cursory search of Companies House will inform you of the interested parties thereof.

I am very disappointed by the news that Featherstone Rovers have been thrown out of the Championship. I am supporting the club and hope there is a solution to the current problems. I will post more updates as we get them.
