Both the director and Kitase has said that they are pleased with the sales (which is around 4-5 million by now according to analysts). I guess that Part 3 will sell along the same as Rebirth when that was released (2m~)

@mistwalker1985 @Genki_JPN Even so, that's because ff7remake had all the hype behind it. Look at rebirth now, even SE says it's not sold what they expected it too and going off of that, just how well or poorly do we think the final entry will sell?

@mistwalker1985 @Genki_JPN If ff7remake had been a true remake of ff7 with qol improvements and what have you, it would have most likely sold far more. Splitting 1 game into 3 was never a good idea and everyone that didnt get what they wanted from remake aren't going to bother with rebirth after.
