As I'm training my animation skills, here's a pre production cut of Heiki for the MAXED OUT! OP I'm working on. I might add a few inbetweens later on though, it's still a bit choppy.

That’s 2/4 of the character designs done…this is actually part of a YouTube video I’m making. I know they look pretty similar. Fun fact, Heiki is actually intentionally designed to be very similar to Maki. But it’s up to you guys to interpret what that means 😅

Well, it was a nice day outside so I decided to take my car for a nice drive. The engine blew and I have been sitting waiting for a tow truck for a long time. That was not in my bingo card.

I've been practicing painting skys and clouds.

I had a burning urge to play my very out of tune piano today.

I don’t know if you guys will find it as amusing as I do, but Heiki will have her hair down in Ch. 4 lol And I’m putting a lot more emphasis on the clothes they’re wearing, I’ve had to study fashion😆

Lately, I’ve been rewatching Hibike Euphonium to study the backgrounds and different anime composition techniques I want the BG artists to know I pause every frame and am so impressed 😭 They’re beautifully done! They didn’t miss a thing! So talented.

Today is a manga heavy day, I’m still drawing out the storyboard for Ch. 4😦 I’m also filming a YouTube video where I redesign Heiki and try to make a 2 second animation from it, I think it’s going to be a lot of fun.

Even though I only have 12 followers on here, it’s still fun to talk to the 12 of you every day. I just spent a few hours making the opening cut for the MAXED OUT! OP. Who knew drawing flowers was so hard.

Maki Hoshimoto official updated character design sheet This took weeks, now I’ve gotta make the other 3 characters 😰

@KyleSch01161587 Ive seen Food for the soul, 86, TMLH, but haven’t heard of the others! TMLH is one of my favorite art designs currently, I based Maki’s pupil design off of Yanami believe it or not! I’ll check them out, thanks! 🙂

@Burisuko_ch Some recent underrated ones I went in without expectations for and ended up liking a lot would be This monster wants to eat me, Food for the soul, 86, Too many losing heroines, and Sorairo Utility. Each had something going for it with the art style, storyline, or a fun SoL vibe.

What’s one anime you watched that you thought you wouldn’t like, but ended up enjoying? I’m looking for some new recommendations. If I had to pick one, I think Yuru Yuri was probably my biggest surprise. I ended up falling in love with that series lol
