When an artist turns their album in to their label, it’s on the artist to provide all final assets and credits, and enough time for the label to execute. Artists need to put their label in position to ensure the credits appear upon release. It’s on the artist.

Drake used multiple beats on ICEMAN from producers he discovered online, providing them an incredible platform. The album was then released to DSPs without credits in the metadata, so none of them are earning any recognition. Always credit your producers.

The scariest part about social media is realizing how much of it is psychological warfare. Rage bait. Flex culture. Gender wars. Fake perfection. Public humiliation. Silent competition. People aren’t even posting to connect anymore. They’re posting to influence how others feel.
