Today marked the beginning of new challenges, new friendships and new opportunities. We couldn’t be more proud of how our students started this year. 📚

Day one of the 2025 - 2026 school year is officially in the bag! 🎒 From fresh exercise books to reconnecting with friends after summer our students filled the classrooms and hallways with excitement, determination and bright smiles.

Please remember, that all student absences must now be reported via the ClassCharts app. If you’re reporting absence for more than one child, simply repeat the process for each student.

Last week, our Year 11 students collected their results and what a fantastic day it was! From excitement and relief to proud smiles with friends and family, the atmosphere was full of celebration. 🌟

Joining Burnside Sixth Form in September Dimitris is going to be studying Chemistry, Physics, Maths and Further Maths. We can't wait to welcome you back in September. Well done for your fantastic achievements.

Congratulations Dimitris! 🌟 Dimitris received some amazing results in his GCSEs last week, including a grade 9 in Science and also achieved grade 8s in Science and Maths. You should be very proud!

From September Katie is continuing to study with us at Burnside, joining our Sixth Form to study Applied Law, Psychology and Geography. We look forward to welcoming you back and can't wait to see what the future holds for you.

Congratulations Katie! 🌟 Katie received her GCSE results earlier this week and has some brilliant achievements including 2 grade 9s in English Language and Geography. Katie also achieved 2 Distinction *'s in Health and Social Care and Enterprise. Well done!

Coming back to Burnside Sixth Form in September, Noor will be studying Psychology, Biology and Chemistry. We are looking forward to welcoming you back and can't wait to see what the future holds for you.
