⚪🔵 This February half term, Bury FC proudly hosted an action-packed Football Camp at Gigg Lane. The camp was a huge success, giving young players the opportunity to develop their football skills, build confidence, and make new friends. The children also got to experience a stadium tour! ⚪️TEAM OF THE WEEK🔵 Our youngest boys team took their lap of honour on Saturday. The U7s were formed this season from children attending Bury Ballers & represent Bury FC in the Manchester Superleague. A very bright future ahead. #buryfc #buryfcjuniors #BFC140 #buryfcfamily

⚪🔵 On Sunday at Gigg Lane, we hosted the Red Card to Hate event, a multicultural hate crime awareness event brought communities together through football, culture and conversation. Organised by Bury Council as part of ongoing community work following the recent synagogue attack, the event saw members of the Jewish community, local police community groups and partners come together for an 11-a-side match focused on unity and inclusion. Alongside this, we delivered a mixed-sex walking football showcase, demonstrating how the game can be accessible, welcoming and inclusive for all. The BAME community also hosted cultural activities at Starkies, including food tasting and dance, helping create a real celebration of diversity. Events like this underline the power of football to connect people, challenge discrimination and stand firmly against hate in all its forms.
