Just saw this amazing sliced open Boeing 747 at the National Aviation Museum of Korea! 🇰🇷
They cut a real 747 in half like this so visitors can see inside... the double decks for passengers, the huge cargo hold below, and all the complex structure and engineering that made it so special.
Korean Air introduced the giant 747 in 1973 during South Korea’s economic boom. It carried about twice as many passengers as the older 707 planes, plus way more cargo. This changed everything about how airlines operated.

At Devil’s Bridge in Wales, three bridges span a single dramatic gorge, creating a remarkable layered monument where centuries of history are carved into stone.
The lowest of the three bridges is thought to date back to medieval times, when crossing the deep Mynach Gorge was both dangerous and essential for local travel. Legend says it was built by the Devil after an elderly woman asked for help retrieving her cow. In exchange, he demanded the soul of the first living creature to cross—but she tricked him by tossing bread across, sending her dog over first instead.
As travel demands grew, a second stone bridge was constructed above it in the 1700s to accommodate improved roads and heavier traffic. In the early 20th century, an iron bridge was added on top, completing the unusual three-tier structure.
Together, the bridges represent three distinct eras of transport—medieval footpaths, turnpike-era road travel, and modern infrastructure—stacked within a single narrow gorge. Devil’s Bridge was also famously depicted in an 1830 engraving by British painter J. M. W. Turner, who was drawn to its dramatic cliffs and layered arches.
