@HBSAlumni .@HBSAlumni: more on old computers. I show this image to students and ask them what it is. Someone guesses memory. I ask how much memory. They say a ridiculously small (today) number, like 64 MB. In fact, it is 256 KB (0.4% of 64 MB). And when it was new, it was HUGE...and $$$.

@petersagal If we know the other player will always defect in the PD, and if we are not willing to defect, then we have to change the game. Example: Make civility and ethics a winning move. I'm not saying it's easy or even possible. But it's necessary if we rule out combat.
