I’m glad you brought this up bc I’m having a conversation with a friend about it on WhatsApp. Why do people bring up Argentina’s extremely problematic and downright disgusting and inhumane history but not other countries?

Lol I think people are genuinely conflating Messi hate with Argentina hate. Some of us absolutely love Messi as a footballer but hate Argentina due to the nations extremely problematic and downright disgusting and inhumane history.

@OomKobusVDM @chepape_donny @_ShaunKeyz VAR is always consulted they only call the ref to check when it's something the Assistant refs are not sure about. So if the ref doesn't check then the assistants are happy with the decision

@chepape_donny @_ShaunKeyz Guys can someone please enlighten me; who determines whether the VAR be consulted or not?.. the referees were so quick to go to VAR when Argentina stood to benefit but when its Egypt VAR is not even considered

Mna honestly I don’t think Argentina are better than France and Spain, if they meet any of good teams in the last or quarter finals I don’t know if they survive.

@Timurtz91 @Trentisballin Who was he when he signed is my point none of these guys were worth that it was just purely on potential Wirtz had the potential and the CV to back it none of Grealish,Enzo,Caicedo did only Rice is worth the shout and my point is if you pay 100m for that then Wirtz is worth more.

@Timurtz91 @Trentisballin Well that depends on what Currency you are using but in pounds Wirtz was £100m and it can go up to £116m which is £1m more than Caicedo who did nothing compared to the 2 it's also the same as Anderson who again compared to the 2 did nothing. Isak was £125m.

@Timurtz91 @Trentisballin Not the point, In the current market Diomande price is valid but that means Liverpool underpaid for Wirtz and Isak considering they were signed just last year. Speaking on flopping Coutinho and Hazard flopped but it doesn't mean their price wasn't deserved same way with Wirtz

He did all this whilst being 22 and under, take that CV and slap it on any random player and they are a 100m+ player. No PL 100m signing had a better CV

@15Asande Been telling folks that as long as those guys are still in the tournament they are still a threat although I do feel they are capable of losing in the final also. It's crazy coz this time they seem to be running purely on emotions something they didn't do in past tournaments
