I have endo and can’t speak to specific stats, but there are a ton of differential diagnoses for endo and it’s very hard to diagnose without a laparoscopy. A lot of women with idiopathic dysmenorrhea from high prostaglandin production or with pelvic pain from pelvic floor dysfunction or anatomical issues or other conditions like adenomyosis will self diagnose without endo. Not their fault but there’s a lot of misinfo out there that severe cramps=endo when that’s not the case

Went to the male gynaecologist & when he was looking over my history he said "Endometriosis?" and I said yes. And he said "Is that just your speculation or have you actually been diagnosed?" and I was like "I have been cut open three times for it so I hope it isn't just speculation." and he just looked at me and said "Females tend to diagnose themselves falsely because they are dramatic"

My wife and I just returned from Disney with 3 and 4 yr old kids. They loved it. But the interactions with “Disney adults” left us with the feeling that we’d pay even more money (I know it’s already crazy pricey) for days at Disney reserved for families with kids under 12.
