In a small market, it is bigger than basketball. They are more than just our heroes, they are part of the community here in Memphis. In bigger cities, superstars can hideaway, but not here. BC embraced that and will always be a Memphian. It means more here than other places. Hate on Memphis from afar all you want, but you won’t find a more caring basketball family. 15 forever.

NEWS: Iowa State head coach TJ Otzelberger has agreed to a 10-year contract extension that will pay him $6 million annually, the school announced. He’s now under contract until 2036.

All any of them had to do was just say “Thanks, Iowa State, but I want to follow my head coach,” and few people, if any, would have had hard feelings. Stringing everyone along and making it sound like an agonizing decision when, apparently, your mind was already made up sucks.
