I have absolutely zero hype for Supergirl which is such a shame because a year ago I was chomping at the bit for more DCU. Feel like their second movie should’ve been something wildly different instead of just Superman but it looks muddy and he’s in space this time

It’s very likely that Supergirl’s budget is 170 million BEFORE tax credits.
Supergirl was filmed entirely in the UK and in Scotland; places that give massive tax credits for blockbusters and VFX Work.
Project Hail Mary’s budget was 248 million but reduced to 190 million after UK tax credits.
There’s a reason DC Studios is relocating its entire production hub to the UK; and it’s not because of the weather.
