Greek writing is derived directly from the Pheonician writing system. With the Greek writing later giving inspiration to Estrucan, who would give inspiration to Runes.

The Phoenician also inherits hieroglyphics and what seems to be canaanite proto-alphabetic writing.

Phoenicians spread their writing throughout the Mediterranean and the hellenic and italic peoples imported the script and shaped according to their traditions. The rumic writing is the same thing = arrived through Roman contact
