🚨BREAKING: At Real Madrid, there is a sense of frustration following the UEFA Champions League draw. Within the club, there’s a feeling that they keep being paired with Manchester City year after year. In fact, Thibaut Courtois and Antonio Rüdiger have now faced City more times as Madrid players than they ever did during their spell at Chelsea. [@DamianCasol]

He openly cheated on Zara two times and he was also caught both times, she desperately "forgave" him because her previous boyfriends left her, didn't want to marry her and couldn't find someone else, they got married and he was caught cheating on her again lol 😂 one month after the wedding on the Rugby and it was on front pages. He is unemployed, just doing promo here and there, and lives on Princess Anne estate. Of course he supports racists and far right.

Nobody wants to be ghoulish about a funeral (although we recall the reams of govt/media attacks on Bobby Storey's), but having uniformed British military personnel parade in Ireland is completely unacceptable. This is what the erosion of our neutrality is intended to normalise.
Anti Imperialist Action Ireland@AIAIreland

Uniformed British Soldiers Parade in Roscommon The appearance of the uniformed members of the British Army in Roscommon today, at the funeral of an Irishman who decided to serve the occupation and became a British officer, is an insult to all Irish people a our history.

@BeattieDoug Hard to have sympathy for someone that willingly joined the British war machine. He refused to join his own nation's army, which actually does serve the common good of humanity via peace keeping missions. Clearly this traitor wanted to see "action" with blood lust on his mind..

@Nusc2023 Shhhhh! Let’s not mention Wissa 👀 A bid was made, player acted on his own accord, nothing to do with us. Personally rather strengthen our defence, a player that acts in that way isn’t exactly a catch!

More one sided analysis from the North East. Isak’s statement was an attempt to correct the endless briefings from the club that have sought to vilify him and his agent. Why on earth shouldn’t he seek to tell his side of the story ? NUFC have briefed that he has never indicated a desire to leave & haven’t admitted they reneged on a contract offer. The player says otherwise. Why is there a broad assumption that the club are the noble truth tellers here ? That Isak is the greedy liar ? Only one party has publicly sought to dominate the media narrative with its perspective. There has been next to zero consideration of the possibility that player may, just may, have been mistreated. Isak, no doubt, felt he needed to publicly end his pretty dignified silence, and speak out on a night when all eyes were on players scheduled to be present at the PFA awards. He clearly wanted it to be appreciated that it was not his fellow professionals that he was seeking to avoid but the glare of a media broadly committed to portray him as the worst of his kind. Newcastle viewing the statement as inflammatory, as they have briefed all, is mock outrage. They were set on thwarting the player regardless with their ‘conditions’ that were always pretty much destined not to be met, given their lack of competence and clarity in the transfer market and machismo in setting ever more unrealistic transfer fees.

In Eddie Howe’s words, Newcastle have kept the door “well and truly open” for Alexander Isak. But Isak's statement on Instagram shows Newcastle — his team-mates, staff and fans — what he thinks of that door. How the next few days play out is unknown, but @GeorgeCaulkin writes that Isak has made things worse for everybody — himself included. 🔗 nytimes.com/athletic/65636…

@ToonMouthTyne No the disruption has been caused by your clubs stance to renege on promises kept and not sell him. Just let the lad go it’s going to happen anyway and this is looking terrible on your FC. Keeping him is what’s causing all this negativity. He doesn’t want to stay at your club.

Newcastle placing a club-record bid for Benjamin Šeško & not already having a commitment from him before doing it absolutely reeks of desperation after the window that they've had. Manchester United showed with Matheus Cunha & Bryan Mbeumo they'll make a bid when they've gotten the green light. Doubt this becomes a bidding war & is decided pretty quickly.

@garngad141 Definitely just a few idiots. Especially the Israel flag part. Para one was poor taste, but I have the feeling more out of stupidity than to wind up. Defo battered us today, we were so poor. But not sure where youse think this is the same as playing our actual team 😅
