Sometimes it’s the little things. Bus tour round @visit_Bute. Driver stopped so we could visit red phone box. Artist Ruth Slater had left something for my wee girls. Later popped @spiritofbute where welcoming owner - unsolicited - foisted me bottle of his Heidrun to try.

Lovely to be back on @visit_Bute, one of my fave Scottish isles. A lovely welcome at Balmory Stables. A weekend of fine local food & drink, beaches, rich history & big skies beckons. Lots of new things to check out too. Watch this space... @TravWriters
