@elonmusk I voted my 20 shares today for the Board’s positions (for Elon), abstaining when it did not take a position.

Nothing sadder than me eating the last plate of dumplins alone in an empty #CrackerBarrel, just before ya’ll kill it.

This was a priority when I took office, and I’m thrilled with the results.
The Churches’ Bill of Rights is a clear outline for churches, houses of worship, synagogues, temples and all faith-based communities to fully understand their rights under the current law. It’s a bold step forward, and it ensures protection of the freedoms that allow these vital institutions to help Hoosiers thrive.

Last Friday, I was sentenced to serve eight weekends at the Livingston County Jail. Let me be absolutely clear: This is not justice. It is political retribution.
For more than three years, New York Attorney General Letitia James weaponized her office to target me personally and to harass the organizations I lead, New York Families Foundation and New York Families Action. Why? Because we dared to stand up for life, marriage, parental rights, and religious liberty—and because I supported candidates who opposed her radical, anti-family and pro-abortion agenda.
This entire ordeal began with a baseless complaint from a disgruntled political opponent in 2018. The Attorney General's office seized on it as a pretext for an invasive fishing expedition. They issued eight grand jury subpoenas, demanded donor lists (which we refused to submit) and sermon recordings, monitored personal and organizational bank accounts, and even threatened to make my wife a legal target. Over 7,000 pages of documents were handed over. They bullied my staff, intimidated innocent people connected to me, and wasted hundreds of hours of ministry time—all to manufacture a 'crime' where there was none.
In the end, they came up with three minor omissions totaling just $1,283.76 from a campaign finance disclosure report—documents that had nothing to do with New York Families. Rather than face a quarter-million-dollar legal battle that would drain resources from our mission, I chose—on counsel's advice and in consultation with our Board—to plead guilty to two misdemeanors and end this nightmare.
But the Attorney General wasn't satisfied with a plea. She wanted a headline. Her office released a false and defamatory press statement accusing me of stealing funds for personal gain. That was a lie. My attorney formally demanded a retraction. It never came. The media dutifully parroted her narrative, smearing my name in the process.
Letitia James is a liberal activist masquerading as a law enforcement officer. She has repeatedly used her power to punish political opponents—whether it's pro-life pregnancy centers, faith-based ministries, or conservative leaders like me. Her actions in my case are part of a broader pattern of weaponizing government against people of faith and conscience.
I will serve these weekends in jail, but I will not be silent. I will not stop advocating for New Yorkers of faith. I will not stop opposing the culture of death and government overreach in our state. If anything, this experience has only strengthened my resolve.
To those who have prayed, supported, and shared the truth—thank you. To those who sought to destroy me—know this: your lies will not prevail. The truth always does.

I am not big on awards, but it was an honor to receive the Honorary Statesman Award yesterday from the @indianafamily Institute. I am proud to help pass laws that promote families and religious freedom.

Throughout Christian history, many godly men have been unjustly imprisoned. Sadly, @RevJMcGuire is about to join that list. We call upon Christian NYers to pray for our dear brother Jason, his wife Lorenne, and their children during this difficult time.

On this Father’s Day I’d like to say a word about the impact of dads in their daughters’ lives—particularly my own father’s impact in mine.
Apart from Christ, my dad has been the single most influential force in my life. He was the first college graduate and the first Christ follower in our family. His choices have changed the trajectory of three generations so far.
Dad always exhorted me to be a risk-taker for Jesus, believing there was a vocational calling I was meant to fulfill. And he modeled how to walk into that calling: not in arrogance but humility, recognizing that Christ is strongest when we are weak.
My dad is both my biggest cheerleader and an honest critic. Without him, I can’t imagine where I’d be. And it’s a joy to see my husband following this same legacy in the lives of our children.
A study came out last week showing that daughters of disengaged fathers are especially prone to depression. This is important information to know.
But it’s important to remember that the converse is also true: fathers have a unique ability to help their children—perhaps especially their daughters—thrive. Today I want all dads to know that your presence matters, your involvement matters, and you are essential. To your kids, to your wife, to society.
Happy Father’s Day.

Iron sharpens iron! 💪 Last night’s Ellettsville Town Hall was exactly what representative government should look like—Hoosiers of every background asking the hard questions on race, education, and the future of our state. I loved every minute of it. Your candid concerns make me a better public servant, and they help shape solutions that lift up all Indiana families. Keep the questions coming—I’ll keep showing up, listening, and fighting for you. #HoosierDialogue #StrongerTogether wthr.com/article/news/l…
