US citizens have such a strange stockholm syndrome for their government. The people 'fight for freedom/liberty' whilst taking away the freedom and liberty of other countries, their enemy is 'government overreach' whilst they vote in the same evil ruling elite each time.

High individual freedom in specific areas - 'speech, guns, lifestyle' Low to no collective control over large systems - 'finance, foreign policy, corporate power'. Complete disaster of a society.

The ideal is supposed to be 'non-interventionism/isolationism' and 'minimal government' with liberal rights-based governance. Now it's 'muh second amendment' in exchange for supporting two-party system, capital-dictated lawless sh*thole with guns everywhere, worst of both worlds.

@jakeshieldsajj The CIA Cold War brainwashing will never leave them, they call the USSR 'j ewish' even though Stalin deported the j ews as a group to Siberia and banned them from the foreign office and closed down hundreds of synagogues. Can't make the same 'judeo-bolshevik' BS up for asia lol.

Would recommend simply reading Molotov's memoirs, btw, for those interested in a good primary source biography of a person who was there, not opinions of people outside of the USSR. Grover Furr is decent, too. youtube.com/watch?v=PVWun9… Anything Wiki or Reddit related is CIA garbage

Realizing that pretty much all of Western 'Soviet historiography' is written by literal epstein associates (Montefiore) and MI6 agents (Robert Conquest) or both lol (Maxwell) is such a jarring realization.

@reealiistt The US is more oligarchic than Russia, btw. The US just flaunts the appearance of being 'democratic', democracy never existed, the average Joe should try running for President and see how that goes...

This is why I don't believe the West and Russia could ever be partners. West is too ideologically based on pushing liberal democracy and promoting degenerate Russians to do it. Western Democracy is not a Russian value, Russian greatness has never been achieved through democracy

@BratProfile I think about anarchism quite often nowadays. Realistically, they're the only conditions in modern-day for a genuine vanguard. a complete deconstruction of the current 'order', that and maybe a military junta.

@2terrific4you There were major mass pro-Stalin protests in Georgia in March of 1956 after Khrushchev's Secret Speech, where he denounced Stalin. These pro-Stalin mass protests were violently suppressed. 'de-Stalinization' was deeply unpopular with the people.

@ButletDers If you then tell these people that Russians, as the supposed victims of Stalin, still view him very positively, in spite of heavy "destalinisation" attempts, you can see them struggle for real, most of them ending up choosing to cite racist fairy tales about the Russian mind.

Capitalist countries already have a planned economy; it is a degenerated oligarchic form that is reserved primarily for large corporations (Amazon, Apple, etc.). They internally plan to allocate resources, forecast demand, & control supply chains. Small producers are the victims.

@TheRitualDiv @Vocatusk @TheNameofWar 1. Citing losses doesn't contradict the fact of high standards (spam vs skill). 2. A third of Russia's troops on the frontline are local 'civil defence units' from Donbass. 3. Azov, 'Ukraine's most elite brigade', was completely wiped out in Mariupol by 'civil defence units'.

@airbent_ I wouldn't go that far, but I do think there are many Oligarchs who would objectively hate to see the Soviet Union rise again. Maybe if it were a Market model like China, they would go along with it, but there would likely still be a lot of resistance.

@Fawxcs Simple 'yes' or 'no': During the first millennium, was the status quo - 'Pentarchy, Patriarch of Rome had no universal jurisdiction, first among equals (primacy) but not supremacy, no doctrine or dogma without an ecumenical council with approval of other patriarchates'?

@ButletDers That proves the very opposite lol. I’m not replying to each one of your juvenile word vomits. I can point you in the right direction of sources tho if you would like regarding any topics you brought up! Contra Eunomius by St. Gregory is a good one for proving filoque
Fawx 🇵🇸🇷🇺🇻🇦🇪🇺@Fawxcs

@ButletDers I became Catholic because it’s objectively true and can’t be refuted. Filioque especially! Thanks for sperging out with a bunch of stuff that I thought when I was 15. I’ll be praying for you

Christianity has cooked Europe. It seems to me that, because Paganism had a focus on honour, and, to some degree, the material world/environment, the shift to Christianity made everything too abstract and disconnected from our immediate environment, which leads to cringe.
