Pentz Fire Evacuation Update 6.26.26 4:00 p.m. The Butte County Sheriff’s Office is LIFTING the EVACUATION WARNING for zone 461.

At scene of a vegetation fire off Pentz Road in lower Paradise, near Lindenbaum Lane. Air and ground resources are working on containment. Per Butte County Sheriff evacuations are in place.#PentzFire

Zone 461- East of, and not including Dry Creek Rd, east to west branch of Lake Oroville. From the intersection of Arden Way and Pentz Rd, to north of the Intersection of Pentz Rd and Messilla Valley Rd.

Pentz Fire Evacuation Warning 6.26.26 1:52 p.m. The Butte County Sheriff’s Office is issuing an EVACUATION WARNING for residents living in Zone 461 in the Butte Valley area due to a fire burning in the area. Prepare to evacuate. For more info, visit buttecounty.ca.gov/sheriff

#RockFire [update] Air and ground resources making good progress. The fire is approximately 5 acres with retardant and dozer line around most of it. Firefighters will remain committed to the incident for several hours. Follow the Butte County Sheriff on Facebook for evac info.

Rock Fire Evacuation Warning 6/13/26 3:03 p.m. BCSO is issuing an Evacuation Warning for the following areas in zone 317 in the Richardsons Springs area- Richardson Springs Rd, Grindstone Place, Nicalog Road and Indian Cliffs Dr. Prepare to evacuate

FORBESTOWN FIRE EVACUATION ORDER 9.2.25 8:05 p.m. The Butte County Sheriff’s office is issuing an EVACUATION ORDER due to FIRE. The EVACUATION ORDER is for the southern portion of Zone BUT-FORB-682.

This includes the area from Old Forbestown Road and Cemetery Lane, east to the Forbestown Store. This will include all residences located on School Street and Cloverleaf Lane. LEAVE NOW. Please do not call 911 for info.

Hawk Fire EVACUATION WARNING 6.24.25 1:12 p.m. The Butte County Sheriff’s Office has issued an EVACUATION WARNING due to a wildfire in the community of Feather Falls near Blackhawk Trail and Craig Access, in zone 665. Prepare to evacuate.

CAL FIRE/Butte County resources will be continuing the Thermalito Grasslands Prescribed Burn tomorrow. See News Release for details.

Prepping for today's #CamelotRx Prescribed Burn. Good briefing for the crews, and we will be conducting a test burn shortly. Off Clark Road/Hwy 171 south of Butte College. Smoke will be visible in the area throughout the day. This is a control burn. Please do not call 9-1-1.
