I built a reselling business out of my garage that makes me at least an extra $1k/month. Best month was a little over $6k. And before somebody asks… No, I didn’t quit my job. I’m still a pastor full-time. This is just something I’ve built in the margins. it started with me selling random stuff out of my house so I could afford my first liquidation pallet. Now I regularly buy liquidation pallets from Costco and Target and flip the items locally. I’ve sold everything from: • pressure washers • exercise equipment • camping gear • wagons & outdoor chairs • Costco furniture • personal heaters • Target kids furniture Some stuff sells in hours. I had camping chairs and wagons one time that never even made it to Marketplace. Friends on Facebook bought almost all of them the same day. Other stuff sits for weeks and makes you question your life choices every time you open the storage unit. 😂 That’s the part people online don’t talk about enough. Reselling isn’t really about finding “magic” inventory. It’s mostly: timing, consistency, answering messages, loading furniture on Saturdays, and slowly figuring out what people in your area actually buy. I’m still learning as I go. But if you’re willing to stay consistent, there’s real money to be made doing this. Follow me @donnyyoung if you want to see what this looks like in real life.

Another full truckload of Costco Returns coming my way next week! Trying to develop my truckload system…and grit! This is likely the last inventory we will buy before an upcoming 2 week vacation… Can we sell a full truckload in less than 2.5 weeks? Yes we can! How? We have already started sharing previews of items to get interest. Already have 3 buyers interested once it lands. My first full truckload of Costco Returns was August 2025 and it took us 36 hours to hit profit zone… Sold entire truckload in 13 days.. Stacking cash for kids college fund!!
